Clean Hits on Substack
Would be pretty slick to get Smith and Leonard with our pick and Ottawa’s.
I want Benson and Danielson.I would love that getting both Smith & Leonard
If Smith is gone by 6 (most likely 8th), I'm taking Leonard at 8

I’ll also agree to Fantilli and Honzek.I really like the idea of drafting a player like Leonard if we take a flyer on a guy like Smith. I just doubt Smith is there at 6.
We know
I’ve got Danielson ahead of every kid in that last category. If we're 7 OA
definitely out of reach
Bedard
Fantilli
Carlsson
probably out of reach
Smith
Reinbacher
crazy good and possibly available
Michkov
Benson
maybe a reach because Bill likes em big
Dvorsky
Barlow
Wood
Sale (he'll put on weight)
Leonard (plays bigger than he is)
AddedI’ve got Danielson ahead of every kid in that last category.
Take him at 12th then. If I had a nickel for every kid who’s “definitely” going top 10, I’d have between 75 cents and a dollar. haha.Dvorsky.
If I can't have Michkov, Reinbacher or Smith then I want Dvorsky.
Yes!lets just win the lottery
As long as we dont drop we are in great shape. especially if someone above us goes off the board with a D .Anyone else wanna post a top 16?

So many good points here. Remember last summer when we started talking about this? Dvorsky and Yager were in a majority of top 5 lists. How the hell do I have him at #15? Last fall I had Sale at #7, now he's at #17 and I'd love to still get him. I don't recall a draft this stacked, ever. This list was a lot harder to put together than I thought it would be and it still needs tweaking. It'll be a completely different order the deeper I dive into these prospects by June 28.Wow this is very difficult. This class is insanely stacked in the top 16

Barlow is just too impressive to me. I had to take a step back and put together his season last year and this one to paint the full picture, but he should have never dropped out of my top 8. I don't see how he doesn't have the same upside as Slafkovsky outside of the injuries. I'm committed to him at 7 lol
I still really like Dvorsky despite a "down" season. Cooley-Dvorsky down the middle is too intriguing to potentially miss on so if we take him at 6 I wont be upset.
I really think Moore is a bit underrated, but then I immediately wonder if Yager is actually the most underrated on lists. My gut says in redrafts of 22+23 draft years most will have him in the top 12, if not top 10, but it always stings when prospects lose momentum their draft year.
Reinbacher is this low simply because this list is my BPA, it has nothing to do with positional need. Part of me really hopes we come out of the draft with him. I wish Sale showed a bit more but when he is on he would be around 8-10 for me. I still feel like everyone, including me has Yager too low.
Šalé with Cooley would be one filthy and skilled top line, add pure sniper and f*** me dude...So many good points here. Remember last summer when we started talking about this? Just in past week, Danielson and Moore dropped for me as Barlow and Dvorsky are climbing. I also left out 3 of your honorable mentions that deserve to be in there.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Somewhere.
The captain has been very impressive. Maybe enough to put him in the top 20. He currently sits #5 in tournament scoring, who would have thought that?Outside of the top 4 there are 2 guys I desperately want and 1 guy that I really, really want.
1. Otto Stenberg
Everything about Stenberg just screams NHL player to me. There's not a moment in time where he isn't doing something. He's always ready for whatever opportunity he has. He pursues pucks, picks off passes, has an eye for hitting passes, skates well, and has a great shot. He looks like a can't miss prospect. He's been someone I've kept an eye on all season but he's now been the best player for Sweden in two straight International Tournaments. And yes I know ASP has been fantastic. Stenberg I think has made approximately 1.5 mistakes all tournament from what I've seen. He has all the tools to be a prolific two way goalscorer and his floor is super high. I have this feeling that someone is going to draft him mid 1st and everyone is going to go "HUH?" and then 2 years later he'll be winning the Calder.
