I just got in a few minutes ago so im playing catch up, absolutely no draft night trades? Must have been a fairly boring 1st round thus far.

Why do you care about what someone like Emily Kaplan thinks about a pick though? I guarantee you are more qualified to have an opinion about it than she is.

These clowns just ask the kids some basic questions, pump them up like they’ll be the next Nick Lidstrom, and move on. For a lot of the kids getting drafted this will be the greatest moment of their life. Let ‘em have it.
 
I think the Kings did well getting Gavrikov for what wound up being the 22nd pick.

Now if this scouting staff is as good as some think they are, they pull their weight with the picks this team has and makes something with their second round and later picks. They managed to do it in 2017 and have had three prospects from 2019 play NHL minutes who should be regulars next season.

Who said I specifically cared about what she said? The entire panel slobbers over everyone which then leads to every fan base overrating these kids because we can’t move so and so, he’s the next NHL superstar! These kids are being drafted, they 100% are going to enjoy their greatest moment forever whether the panel discussing the draft overrates them or not.
