Dej too?It looks like all drafted Slovaks will go to the CHL. The only questionable one right now is Tomas Pobezal.

As far as I know, 99% yes. Slovan Bratislava already has a replacement in the form of Patrik Masnica.Dej too?
I’d have hoped Pekarcik would stay in Nitra this season. He is physically strong enough for larger role and skating is no issue. And that Titan roster looks like it’s going to be absolutely awful this year considering 2 of their top skaters are going pro.It looks like all drafted Slovaks will go to the CHL. He/his agent/the Blues certainly had other plans for his move to the CHL.I’d have hoped Pekarcik would stay in Nitra this season. Sherbrooke has confirmed this with a video from Dej in their Instagram story. As far as I know, 99% yes. Slovan Bratislava already has a replacement in the form of Patrik Masnica.
I suspect a big part of his decision was that the USHL has pretty firmly established itself above QMJHL over the last five years. Not a great look for the Titan, missing out on a second overall pick. Especially considering the player decided to come over and play in NA, just not for them.

His agency only works with a handful of teams in the league – at least when it comes to their top prospects. They told the Titan not to pick him, but their GM did it anyway. The Blues wanted him in the OHL, would’ve been fine with the WHL too, but since he was drafted to Bathurst and his agency didn’t even approve, they started offering him to USHL teams.I suspect a big part of his decision was that the USHL has pretty firmly established itself above QMJHL over the last five years.
It's possible he does a year in the USHL and then moves to the CHL.I suspect a big part of his decision was that the USHL has pretty firmly established itself above QMJHL over the last five years.
Only if AB drops him and someone else drafts him again. It's possible he does a year in the USHL and then moves to the CHL.
They have to be signed and released by their country’s federation by January 10th.Is there a cut off date when prospects have to make a choice?
