The difference is the Oilers prepared to face the Kings in this round. I guarantee the Kings didn't do shit for preparation. They swarm Fiala and Moore. They don't bother with half the team because they know there's no threat there.
Untrue. Blake has prepared for this series all year long when he got the "much needed" Dubois to beat Edmonton's center depth.

Hilariously fitting that so far this series, Blake's two biggest offensive acquisitions, combined, have as many points as Laferriere.

On a side note, stoll is such a shill with how much he downplays all the Kings bullshit. Dude can sell ice to an Eskimo

I knew the team was going to lose, I know they needed to get buttf***ed to get rid of Blake, this still is hard to watch though. It’s like watching your buddy walk out to a fight you know he gets killed in

If they could just get a defenseman to walk the line and get a puck through, they can beat Skinner and the Edmonton D if they get them moving.

This static, no movement offense is the #2 problem behind having no puck moving defensemen. They have the talent in Clarke and Spence, but shoot their own balls off with who they have on the blue line.

Besides maybe re-signing Rittich to be the regular backup, who would you like to see as the #1 goalie for the Kings next season?
Dumpster dive because we committed to an organizational path that makes it almost impossible to get one this summer. Like what would we even trade to get one?

Also, Rittich

Trade:
- Doughty
- Kopitar
- Danault
- Moore
- Fiala
- Gavrikov
- Lizotte
- Anderson
- Englund
- Grundstrom

Let walk:
- Arvidsson
- Roy

Buy out:
- Dubois

Kempe can decide his future. He’s legit. Build around Byfield and Clarke.

Goal of the offseason:
- Acquire big, mean players.

Sean Durzi would’ve been a nice fit out there right about now. Giveaways and all.
