He's solid, very athletic but lacks the structure/IQ like a poor man's Varlamov. I am a firm believer that Avs FO believe that they can instil the structure part into him with Parkkila considering the goalers they've drafted and traded for.

Would love to add him to the Avs. Probably gonna get too much $ though
So they didn't get a Dman... opting to start the year with 6D is a choice.

Love Prosvetov. He’s an athlete and has great size. Also a wild man on the ice. I personally think he’s got legit NHL ability and can be a longer term solution.
Most likely the game 1 lineup:
BTW, what a shitty season opener we have this year in LA. Super late night game on a national broadcast in an arena that looks terrible through a camera.
In Windsor.So.. you're saying Justice is served?
Zona numbers, you're not supposed to get it lol.A .900 with a 3.06 GA just seems whacky lol.
Wouldn’t we potentially lose him right back when Francouz comes back?Love Prosvetov. He’s an athlete and has great size. Also a wild man on the ice. I personally think he’s got legit NHL ability and can be a longer term solution.
Potentially if he’s waved and if Frank actually comes back. Nothing saying Arizona will reclaim him or anybody else would.Wouldn’t we potentially lose him right back when Francouz comes back?

Thank god our defensemen are all beacons of good health.

I'm still hoping maybe they do a trade before I go all wtf lol.
That he doesReally like this move from the Avs. He fits into the profile of goalies the Avs like and currently fit into their defensive play. Prosvetov has the mobility, agility, and size combination the team will love. Shows he can be patient on his edges and has decent structure. He's done well toning down his play and playing within the crease rather than being an unmitigated scrambling mess. The Yotes did a good job getting him to take a jump last year, Parkkila should be able to get him ready to be the 2G here. Potentially for awhile too.
If the FO showed the consistent ability to fill holes at the TDL I’d be less worried. Because adding a depth dman isn’t hard to do there, but… we never fill holes at the TDL.So they didn't get a Dman... opting to start the year with 6D is a choice.
