Who in Ontario can replace the veterans? No one can even replace Lewis at this time. Ownership must be blessing Blake's moves or this team wouldn't be in cap hell. Byfield can't even replace Kopitar, reason he is playing wing and we know this.

Because, for the 5000th time, they haven't won a damn thing in 9 years. They aren't winning anything with this group, they are still first round cannon fodder for the same reasons as three years ago.

Why are so many of you so defensive about maintaining a status quo that is nothing to celebrate at all? What is so endearing about this mediocre at best product that makes you guys get so upset about ANY criticism?

Stop augmenting a losing model and build for a future worth celebrating by embracing changes that must be made.

And yes, it will mean taking some lumps, but since this team isn't winning anything anyway, its the best course of action. The kids, whether 19 or 22, will STILL need time to acclimate to the NHL and waiting until its do or die is a wildly stupid way of running a team.
