The Reign are really going down easy in this game. Hudon looked like he just got shot in the foot after Carrick whacked him. Moverare took a blatant dive earlier, too.

Gulls taking too many penalties. Clang looks like he's swimming a lot, but also making some good saves. Fun game for fans, but coaches must be livid with the lack of defense.

Perreault whacks in a loos puck in front of the Reign net after a long shift in their zone. I think Nesterenko will get the first assist for his first AHL point. Carrick should get the secondary assist. 4-3 Gulls near the end of the 2nd period.

EDIT: Currently, Nesterenko has not been given credit for the assist, so it reads Perreault from Carrick and Gawdin.

I have no idea how that resulted in the Gulls being shorthanded. They have gotten the short end of the stick on the calls all game long.

Ahahahhahahah the Reign commentators are funny. Why does Carrick have Clarke in a headlock while celebrating?! Then you see the replay of Clarke lookilng like he slewfooted Nesterenko after the goal. Afterwards, Carrick grabs Clarke. The chest thumping ensues. Reign with a PP after all that.

Zellweger misplayed a puck in the OZ that lead to a 2v1 on Hinds. Hinds split the two forwards. While sliding down on the ice toward the puck hander, Hinds used his long reach and stick to purposely knock the puck off the forward to thwart any shot on goal or pass. Great job, Hinds!

Regenda makes a great move on a shorthanded breakaway, but Rittich makes an even better save. Gulls still up 4-3 in the middle of the 3rd.

Damn. Regenda stole the puck in the neutral zone and had a slow breakaway. Tried to deke, but he was too close to the goalie and Regenda's attempt was blocked. Then Regenda grabbed the rebound and tried to bounce it off the goalie, but it was also deterred.

Perreault looks great, like a completely different player under McIlvane. It would be a godsend if he can rebound into a top-9 caliber forward at the NHL level

I think he has the skill set and shot to be a Top 6 player. Just has to have the drive. Hard work got him an apple and goal tonight.
