That’s a pretty telling quote there at the end. Stephen’s normally doesn’t say things like that so sounds like they’re at least holding a spot open for one of the kids.
Yah. Lacombe is in ili think. Look for zellweger or myntikovThat’s a pretty telling quote there at the end. Stephen’s normally doesn’t say things like that so sounds like they’re at least holding a spot open for one of the kids.
Woof.Fowler-Drysdale

Yeeeah, arguably still worse than last season, and that's if Drysdale takes a step forward.Woof.
We really do still need at least 1 more defensive D. We tend to forget that Shattenkirk was actually a significant part of our PK.Yeeeah, arguably still worse than last season, and that's if Drysdale takes a step forward.
Believe me, I remember. We really do still need at least 1 more defensive D. We tend to forget that Shattenkirk was actually a significant part of our PK.

Haha indeed. I still like the idea of Forbot but given the perceived desire to allow Lacombe every opportunity to make the team I think a RD is more important and if we are in on ADC then we can probably only really afford 1.Believe me, I remember.
I wake up in a cold sweat remembering it.
Woof.
And such a potent PK it was!We really do still need at least 1 more defensive D. We tend to forget that Shattenkirk was actually a significant part of our PK.
That's kind of the point. He was better than our other options and we didn't exactly replaced everyone yet.And such a potent PK it was!
Better according to Eakins. That's kind of the point. He was better than our other options and we didn't exactly replaced everyone yet.
His goals against number actually support it.Better according to Eakins.
Gudas and Fowler can't play the entire pk every PK.Gudas is a better PKer than every other defenseman on our roster, so that + dropping Shatt/Klingberg is a huge improvement.
Even though the pool of options to pick from was as shallow as can be, I think playing Shattenkirk on the PK so much was an Eakins error. Could not think of worse player to have on the PK. Even Klingberg could skate enough to be somewhat useful.
I agree, but even that would be a significant improvement from last season where Shattenkirk and Fowler had significant PK time. His goals against number actually support it.
Gudas and Fowler can't play the entire pk every PK.
What do people here think of Dumba on a 2-3 year deal? Or even a 1 year Klingberg type of deal?
I requires both sides to agree, and we have no idea what Dumba wants in the way of money and term. Given what the Ducks have in young defensemen, the Ducks do not want Dumba for more than two years or he will be blocking promotions from the Gulls. What do people here think of Dumba on a 2-3 year deal? Or even a 1 year Klingberg type of deal?

Gudas does like 10m of shtoi a game. He is a monster. We need defensemen who PK.
Last year: Fowler-Kulikov and Benoit-Shatty
This year: Fowler-Gudas and ??? - ???
I know LaCombe played on the PK and PP in the NCAA. With his willingness to block shots, hopefully the org can trust him to be on the PK. That way we're just missing one more PK player. Otherwise, we're missing two PK d-men.
