I listened as well. I didn't want to post on it, because I guess I'm bashing Torts too much lately, but here is my take...

Torts gave lots of praise to Sanheim, and said the main difference is his mindset. Torts said he had multiple conversations to Sanheim last season about becoming more aggressive (more my word than his). I want to give Torts credit here for pushing Sanheim to play better, but then I remembered this team came extremely close to trading Sanheim this offseason for Torey Krug.

I also remembered that the only ones who were traded were non-Torts guys. No Tort's guys were traded. So then the question is, at the beginning of the season, what was the Flyers stance on Sanheim? They really didn't have a choice in playing him as the defacto No.1 Defenseman. Am I really supposed to give them credit for the team following the only viable path? I know certain posters think I and others are only looking for the bad, but that's not the case. They lucked into this situation. It's hard to give them credit on this one, for me.
Didn't you know that all the context you dropped in the post doesn't count for a hill of beans? Only the end results matter.

It’s logically hard to give credit when you were/are a Torey Krug yes away from having him be your 1D right now. For a guy in Tortorella who’s recently admitted he’s focused on winning that would be a noticeable downgrade for your team right now & would have been directly caused because of you (Tortorella).

Cates: lower body injury, out a while, finished the game last time around...gut tells me that's a good ol' shot blockin' foot fracture.

Better than putting Frost there I guess.

Guessing the first unit then would have to be Farabee-Couturier-Brink-Konecny-York? Or Walker up top?

I'd be shocked if Tippett isn't on the PP. If anyone isn't there, I imagine it's Farabee.

Ah I forgot about that translucent freak. Yeah, I dunno why Farabee doesn't get prime PP looks, feel like they should be trying to lean on his chemistry with Brink on the first unit.

I'd love to see them run Farabee-Frost-Brink as a line at some point but Torts probably thinks that unit would be TOO SMOL.

I'll bet you every organ in my body that the EXACT SECOND Cates is healthy again, he'll be back in the lineup.

None of the "i WaNt To GeT hIM bAcK iN bUt I cAnT fIgUrE oUt hOw" bullshit that Torts spewed about scratching Frost and Brink. Mr Zero Offense is a roster lock.

I don't give a shit if they're on a 10 game win streak and every single player is looking great. He's back in immediately.

Non-zero chance Torts puts Cates in as HC for a game or two before he's back.
