I listened as well. I didn't want to post on it, because I guess I'm bashing Torts too much lately, but here is my take...
Torts gave lots of praise to Sanheim, and said the main difference is his mindset. Torts said he had multiple conversations to Sanheim last season about becoming more aggressive (more my word than his). I want to give Torts credit here for pushing Sanheim to play better, but then I remembered this team came extremely close to trading Sanheim this offseason for Torey Krug.
I also remembered that the only ones who were traded were non-Torts guys. No Tort's guys were traded. So then the question is, at the beginning of the season, what was the Flyers stance on Sanheim? They really didn't have a choice in playing him as the defacto No.1 Defenseman. Am I really supposed to give them credit for the team following the only viable path? I know certain posters think I and others are only looking for the bad, but that's not the case. They lucked into this situation. It's hard to give them credit on this one, for me.
