i wouldnt be surprized to find moths have eaten my Flyers blouses... havent worn em in a bunch of seasons now... #sellthefranchise

I had one here, no nameplate or number. I hung it off the back of the chair where the cats sleep out on the back patio. The chickens have shit on it, and I am sure the opossums have rubbed against it with their Elon Musk juices. True story.

One day I hope to find out with 100% certainty if the rumor that they put these out there to fool the chinese knockoff sweatshops intentionally.

I always wondered if they were going to actually be the jersey but they saw how many were purchased illegally in advance and pivoted to a different design.

I have two signed and framed jerseys, so I'm extremely relieved that there's no Flyers logo on the back. Just name and number.

Otherwise they might have needed to be removed.

I just saw that Dortmund have to play Augsburg and Mainz, while Bayern have Leipzig next. There's a chance. Sucks that it's in Munich, though.

Ran into a guy who is involved with the team on the weekend . Said to him the players players must have to get to a nut doctor often dealing with Tort's all the time . He laughed and said the team had a psychologist but Tort's fired him .

I hope that's a joke. If that's true, it's just further proof that he's a f***ing scumbag.

Got bored, made another one of these to just get weird:

Trade Atkinson (50% retained) + Hayes (50% retained) to Columbus for LAK 1st and Mateychuk.
Trade Provy to Chicago for TBL 1st and TBL 2nd.
Trade Hart + LAK 1st to the Kings for Brandt Clarke.

Buyout TDA

Konecny - Couts - Tippett
Farabee - Frost - Foerster
Laughton - Cates - Brink
Desnoyers - Lacz - Allison
NDL

Sanheim - Clarke
York - Risto
Zamula/Seeler - Attard
Seeler/Zamula

Ersson
Sandstrom

This is the kind of team that can ride the bottom of the cap floor for a year or two until better and younger players start showing up.

But knowing who is in charge here with the Flyers, they wouldn't have the balls to go this far.

Luckily it appears as if Leipzig will still be needing a win to lock themselves into the top 4, so they won't be half-assing it.

We don't even need Bayern to lose, just a tie and then Dortmund can't choke two extremely winnable games.

Don't think you can trade Atkinson until he plays and teams know he's healthy, maybe at the TDL, but hard with another year on his deal.
Hayes should get a 3rd, maybe a 2nd (38 ES points in a bad situation) with retention/bad contract coming back
If you trade Hart, he should garner a 1st and 2nd, young starting goalies on reasonable contracts are gold in trades.
Provorov should get a good return, but Chicago? Might be early for them.
Laughton should be traded.

If Matthews does indeed leave Toronto for Arizona next summer, I wonder if they would they switch into contender move and be interested in acquiring Couturier as well. No point in signing Matthews if you aren't going to build around him and Couturier was born in Phoenix. That would make for a lethal 1-2 punch if Coots is actually healthy. Arizona could become a factor in the West again finally.

Don't count on Couturier being born in Phoenix meaning anything. He doesn't appear to have any material ties to the city, other than his dad playing for the Roadrunners when Couts was born.

That said, if we haven't found a deal for him already, I'm 100% behind sending him somewhere that will be a contender sooner than we are.

Wait there's no way that Auston/Arizona talk is real right? I've seen it come up and ignored it as a joke.

He just recently said he'd like to stay in Toronto and i'm sure he would if they can come to an agreement on an extension, but if he goes the free agency route there is some smoke around Arizona. I've also heard Los Angeles, which to me makes a lot of sense based on his personality.

I don't know about it being a joke, but it seems to be slightly wishful thinking on the basis of him being from there and the Coyotes not being able to be a terrible feeder system for better teams forever/an inversion of the "everyone from Ontario will play for the Maple Leafs for a toonie and some Timbits" meme.

No one is trading for Couts with that contract until he plays a full season and puts up 50+ points with near Selke defense.
