With DeBrusk, Ullmark and Grzelcyk all skating this morning, safe to assume that nothing major is close to being done.
Anything is possible but the rumors of Edmunson and now Forbort not skating is hard to think something may be going down
If the plan is 2-3 years then pay Arizona to take him then I’m gameThe aging I agree with, in three years he is probably an overpaid third liner, but with leadership skills and still tough/dirty. Arizona situation should be resolved in a couple years (regardless of Bettman being Bettman) and with the World Cup of hockey cap will continue to increase. He should give them two very good playoff runs and fills a huge void at forward on this team. Washington would never move Wilson anyway.
Yes. I think a nice experienced, hard hitting 4th line would be much more effective & cheaper than getting one high skillled player for this team.
There have been rumors that St. Louis likes both DeBrusk and Gryz so you never know. No one thought Bertuzzi was available last year or even Orlov and Hathaway.I like Buchnevich quite a bit, not sure they have the pieces to get it done though.

Guy is cooked. It isn't 2019 anymore.
Trenin is on pace for 18 points.
Lindholm has been posting bad numbers, and Vancouver already wants out.
Is this really what we want? Or is it going to move the needle?
Either chase high impact guys or stand pat IMO.
Yes especially in the health and physicality departments plus playoff experience and leadershipIs Edmunson an upgrade on Forbort? Tougher perhaps?

Would look great in a Bruins jersey, he can beat up Heinen for 43
Gonna just ride it on out...With DeBrusk, Ullmark and Grzelcyk all skating this morning, safe to assume that nothing major is close to being done.
If Don Sweeney gets Buchnevich for DeBrusk and Griz I will never say anything bad about him again. There have been rumors that St. Louis likes both DeBrusk and Gryz so you never know. No one thought Bertuzzi was available last year or even Orlov and Hathaway.
I'm going to clip this post just in caseIf Don Sweeney gets Buchnevich for DeBrusk and Griz I will never say anything bad about him again.

Yeah, it will be tough, but like Heinen I give credit where it is due.I'm going to clip this post just in case
You rely on the fact that the Bruins management, scouts etc are professionals unlike all of us on here except Dom and a few others.... No not you marchyBecause you're sending over video analysis right? How else do you evaluate players objectively over the course of a season?
Did we bring in high impact guys last year at the TDL? How did that work out for us? How many "high impact guys" are really even on the trade market?
Is this a one for one trade ,not sure why the Caps would even want to bother, aren’t they both UFA’s next season,do they think Forbort might get them into the playoffs.Just doesn’t make much sense why they would even make this deal.Is Edmunson an upgrade on Forbort? Tougher perhaps?
Nice to have another cup winner on the team as well.Yes especially in the health and physicality departments plus playoff experience and leadership
Patches has only played 70 games over the past three seasons. At 35, the injuries have to be adding up.Here’s one for you - Max Pacioretty.
I hate to be that guy, but we acquired two last TDL and they did jackshit for us at the end of the day.Nice to have another cup winner on the team as well.
Get Patches and continue down the road of being "Habs South."Patches has only played 70 games over the past three seasons. At 35, the injuries have to be adding up.

Hathaway was not a part of the Caps cup winning team.I hate to be that guy, but we acquired two last TDL and they did jackshit for us at the end of the day.
