The aging I agree with, in three years he is probably an overpaid third liner, but with leadership skills and still tough/dirty. Arizona situation should be resolved in a couple years (regardless of Bettman being Bettman) and with the World Cup of hockey cap will continue to increase. He should give them two very good playoff runs and fills a huge void at forward on this team. Washington would never move Wilson anyway.
If the plan is 2-3 years then pay Arizona to take him then I’m game

Guy is cooked. It isn't 2019 anymore.

Trenin is on pace for 18 points.

Lindholm has been posting bad numbers, and Vancouver already wants out.

Is this really what we want? Or is it going to move the needle?

Either chase high impact guys or stand pat IMO.

Did we bring in high impact guys last year at the TDL? How did that work out for us? How many "high impact guys" are really even on the trade market?

With DeBrusk, Ullmark and Grzelcyk all skating this morning, safe to assume that nothing major is close to being done.
Gonna just ride it on out...
"We'll use them as our own rentals" blah blah.
I guess, what else can they do if nobody, not one team
has any interest in Gyz/JDB? Ullmark? Two schools of thought there.
I would have an open mind if I'm DS, but I'm not. Just another "guesser" at the keyboard.

Because you're sending over video analysis right? How else do you evaluate players objectively over the course of a season?
You rely on the fact that the Bruins management, scouts etc are professionals unlike all of us on here except Dom and a few others.... No not you marchy

That's a fair point. Honestly I thought the chemistry of the roster was fantastic prior to the TDL, and it probably made sense to not change much at all.

IDK how many there truly are, but I wouldn't mind targeting a guy like Chychrun, who is at his lowest possible value right now. (If he's healthy enough, of course, we have to do our due diligence there.)

Before going to Ottawa, he was having a top-10 dman type season. He's cheap cap-wise and is an LD.

As mentioned by others Buch would be a fantastic add too.

Is Edmunson an upgrade on Forbort? Tougher perhaps?
Is this a one for one trade ,not sure why the Caps would even want to bother, aren’t they both UFA’s next season,do they think Forbort might get them into the playoffs.Just doesn’t make much sense why they would even make this deal.
