It has to be BS. That crew eh...Yesterday.
I can't see Bergeron being a guy to return after retiring.

They just said he was practicing hard and wondering if he's prepping for a return. It has to be BS. That crew eh...
I have a hard time with Biz more than anything. Definitely connected. Would love to see a Bergy return for playoffs then join the coaching staff or front office... One can dreamThey just said he was practicing hard and wondering if he's prepping for a return.
That crew is fine, they know quite a bit and have buddies around the game all over.
I don't think him skating is really much of a story. He did an interview with a French language newspaper recently where he talked about his retired life and he seems content. He did say he was doing skates on Fridays, but that was more him missing the comradery of the locker room so he started inviting other retired guys like McQuaid, Raycroft, and Tuukka. Also said he tried to get Chara but he's too busy running marathons lol.Ryan Whitney & Bisonnete reporting on their Spittin Chickets podcast that rumors buzzing that Bergeron potentially plotting a return to the Bruins this season. Apparently he’s been skating a ton locally. Some suggested it’s to stay fresh for alumni games. They aren’t buying it. Just saw it on the socials, don’t know how to link it here. They’re not exactly solid sources.
Bruins Vatrano, Thornton, Seguin, Wheeler, Kessel, Eriksson, Hamilton... Pretty good team of castaways right there.
Beats me. He’s been brutal for them since the start. He’s also been very poor defensively and getting substantially less ice time than in WinnipegI can’t imagine they’d cut bait a half season into that deal. Terrible asset management and far too quick.
But what the hell is going on there? I just assumed he was part of the Kings’ success this year. Helping drive it. Dude is on the third line.
I don’t think they’re on the buyout route. But they have to be shocked and disappointed. That’s an awful start.
I think there's a negative chance the Kings give up on him this soon into a big long term deal after trading a haul for him. This will surely go over great but would anyone consider taking on PLD for basically free at this point? He has a NMC that kicks in next year so there could actually be a chance the Kings want to move him before that
Or better yet, would you take him on a short term deal if he’s bought out? He’s 25 so I’m pretty sure the buyout is lower for under 26 year olds
Crazy as it sounds, either case could be possible
What kind of run? Coffee run? Marathon? Don't think it'll be for a cup runI'll confidently say that I believe 37 will come back for a run
Not sure what this means? Loui Eriksson, for Bruin, traded, played in an all star game. Which is what we were discussing.
Yep. He's been good for years. Really stepped up this year. Could be a trade option.Frank Vatrano is an NHL All Star. Huh.
I said it in another thread the "return of the champion" night is the day before the deadline. read into that as you will...Ryan Whitney & Bisonnete reporting on their Spittin Chickets podcast that rumors buzzing that Bergeron potentially plotting a return to the Bruins this season. I might suggest head and shoulders if your head continues to be itchy

I think you’re underestimating just how bad he’s been this year.I think there's a negative chance the Kings give up on him this soon into a big long term deal after trading a haul for him.
Was referring to ex Bruins that went to the all Star game. Loui's production fell off after for sure but was a pretty good player while hereI think what the poster means is Loui Eriksson's production fell off a cliff after he left the Bruins:

Going from 30G 63P to averaging ~10G and 20 or so points is not what I'd call on a par with what Vatrano, Thornton, Seguin, Wheeler, Kessel, and Hamilton did post-Bruins.
Was referring to ex Bruins that went to the all Star game. Loui's production fell off after for sure but was a pretty good player while here
I saw him do the PWHL announcement and good lord the boy looks fit.Ryan Whitney & Bisonnete reporting on their Spittin Chickets podcast that rumors buzzing that Bergeron potentially plotting a return to the Bruins this season. Yes, but outside of Phil (and Seguins rookie win with Boston), no Cup winners. Am i right In that?Bruins Vatrano, Thornton, Seguin, Wheeler, Kessel, Eriksson, Hamilton... Pretty good team of castaways right there.
We'll see I guess, but there are always teams looking for D and Gryz does have some value for teams looking for a PMD, plus he is a UFA after this year, so no long term commitment. The problem with this is do Gryz or Forbort have any value. I feel Gryz would have been moved long ago if he had any value .
Carlo is not a D-man the Bruins should consider moving .
Gryz on the other hand. I feel would be moved quickly if there was a market for him . How valuable is 3,687,500 of cap space ? This is the problem IMO with trying to move him, his cap space is more valuable than Gryz is as a player.
Not arguing with anyone. Was just mentioning solid talent that were sent packing that have played in the all Star game. Regardless of cup wins their is some solid talent.Yes, but outside of Phil (and Seguins rookie win with Boston), no Cup winners. Am i right In that?
None of those guys scream Mark Recchi type warriors. Except again Phil. Not a warrior but three cups is three cups.
