Zegras is spelled " HEADACHE"Zegras has played his whole pro career on a crappy small market team where he's probably been encouraged to do highlight reel shit to sell tickets. I think you could see a very different player on a team that's actually playing for something. Marchy and Pasta would be great influences as skilled guys that can work hard. (I know Pasta's defensive game is far from perfect but he throws his body around a good amount).
We're not going to get a talent like his in the draft. If he's attainable for Lysell+pick or two+bad contract I do it in a heartbeat.

Report: Bruins Could Be Looking Into Sean Monahan
Are the Boston Bruins eyeing Montreal Canadiens forward Sean Monahan on the NHL trade market? As it is throughout the league, the injury bug is starting to ravage the Boston Bruins. With a grinding schedule about to get even harder, this could be the case going forward for the Bruins and...bostonhockeynow.com
I had the same thought. Must have been pretty bad.Do we actually know what Perry did?
I like the idea of Monahan. Not realistic and I’m not even sure he fits. But I’ve always been a big fan of his.
OkShockingly, Monahan seems to have recovered from his numerous injuries. He is not the playmaking type of center the Bruins need however. I would also be wary of dealing with Hughes and Gorton. They generally win their trades, especially the smaller ones.
Sounds like the perfect new-age Bruin.I want no part of Zegras here. Kid is a complete hot dog. Prototypical new generation kid who cares more about making the highlight reels with his gimmick Michigan goals than he does fighting for position on ice and getting to the dirty areas. Kid is ALLERGIC to fighting for pucks.
Zegras made to be a Leaf
We have to either sign DeBrusk soon or trade him. Can’t let him walk for nothing.
Add on to that they received a first round pick from the Flames for taking on Monahan, this will be a win/win for Gorton and the Habs.Shockingly, Monahan seems to have recovered from his numerous injuries. True, but it being the Habs does not bother me much. One has to trust their scouting and their personal evaluations no matter what.Add on to that they received a first round pick from the Flames for taking on Monahan, this will be a win/win for Gorton and the Habs.
Yeah they’ve really been killing it. Team is stacked now right?True, but it being the Habs does not bother me much. One has to trust their scouting and their personal evaluations no matter what.
Let's not give that douche clicks.
He better not over pay. They will sign him or let him walk. It’s just how Sweeney operates. Probably sign him because Sweeney isn’t going to let the top producing forward he’s ever drafted just walk away. He will overpay for him if necessary.
Bruins should not be trading foe 34 year oldsAdam Henrique or Sean Monahan? Money wise it's Monahan for me.
Because of the injury bug we need a....forward?
There are reasons to trade for a forward. But Forbort, Carlo and Linus injuries aren't the reason.
I don't think the single forward we have injured right now (and it sounds minor) is why we have to go get an F.
I think Sweeney might be looking at his FO%-57.7%Hey, I don't want him, either. Just a FWIW.
It has Sweeney written all over it, however.
