That could be a major help actually.lucic has court a week from today he'll probably be the big deadline pickup if his charges get dropped

Both would be great adds. Kekalien (sp) throw his phone away when he sees Sweeneys numberAnyone think Sweeney could make a deal with Columbus or is his name mud with their GM? They must be sellers and thinking adding Jenner Gudbranson could be interesting. Just a thought. Not sure what it would cost?

Sounds like a bigger Sobotka at worst, go get him. Would he still be restricted by an entry level contract because of age, not being drafted, etc?
Figured but those two could help dang. Maybe a three way trade

Yup, no place for Corey Perry on the PP over Morgan Geekie!I think that Corey Perry got almost 4 minutes of power play time this year on the Blackhawks, something he would absolutely never get here if brought in to play the 4th line. I think he also played 0 minutes short handed, something we tend to need from our 4th line guys ideally.
I think 11 hits in 16 games is absolutely nothing to write home about, if people want a tough guy.
Him being a depth guy here is fine. But like a 13th forward kind of thing. He's not solving any issues.
Last year the Bruins and Jackets apparently had a deal in place and Don pivoted to somewhere else, leaving the Jackets to scramble.Could someone tell me why Sweeney and the gm of Columbus hate each other please ??
They had been talking trade for Columbus D Gavrikov that went to the Kings, seemed like a deal was in place, Sweeney wanted them to retain $ which they would not, so then Sweeney found out Orlov and Hatheway were available and he made that deal instead, which I guess pissed off Jarmo.Could someone tell me why Sweeney and the gm of Columbus hate each other please ??
I want no part of Zegras here. Kid is a complete hot dog. Prototypical new generation kid who cares more about making the highlight reels with his gimmick Michigan goals than he does fighting for position on ice and getting to the dirty areas. Kid is ALLERGIC to fighting for pucks.Do we think the Sharks would ever move on from Hertl? I really think we need more firepower offensively.
I also like Zegras.
I don’t want Perry here to score goals or toss 5 hits per game. I’d be cool with Perry here because he’s a hound in front of the opposing teams goal. He digs in for net front position, he pisses off opposing goaltenders and D, he’s quick to dart into a corner to gain puck possession. Invaluable experience having won Cup. Ideal 4th line RW imo. I guess Steen fills that roll? I’d take Perry there (on the cheap of course)I think that Corey Perry got almost 4 minutes of power play time this year on the Blackhawks, something he would absolutely never get here if brought in to play the 4th line. Zegras has played his whole pro career on a crappy small market team where he's probably been encouraged to do highlight reel shit to sell tickets. I think you could see a very different player on a team that's actually playing for something. Marchy and Pasta would be great influences as skilled guys that can work hard. (I know Pasta's defensive game is far from perfect but he throws his body around a good amount).I want no part of Zegras here. Kid is a complete hot dog. Zegras made to be a Leaf
So you’re suggesting the Ducks front office has instructed Zegras to not engage in the corners and to try gimmick goals in order to sell tickets? Quite the reach there.Zegras has played his whole pro career on a crappy small market team where he's probably been encouraged to do highlight reel shit to sell tickets. We're not going to get a talent like his in the draft. If he's attainable for Lysell+pick or two+bad contract I do it in a heartbeat.
Four less points than Lindholm who plays with better linemates. Teams like Colorado that are looking at adding Lindholm at his price tag could benefit at looking at Monahan instead.
