What's the story with oft injured Logan Stanley?

Drafted 18th overall in 2016; Stanley is 25, and he's listed as a 6'7," 225 pd. left shot D on a one year, 1 million contract.

Can anyone shed light on his play, and whether he might be a fit in Boston?

Coyle Imo was atrocious in the 1st period. Tunnel vision at its finest. On two different occasions he had Marchand wide open on a couple of no brainer passes deep in the Sabres end and both times he hung on to the puck. He also made a pass to Pasta that was not even close to his wheel house, where if it was, it probably would have been in the back of the net.

I bowed out after the first, but he was far from impressive in period one.
Why was Marchand taken off of Zacha and Pasta line

He's a huge dude who can certainly fight - gone up against heavyweights and laid a beating more than once.

Unfortunately, hockey may well be his third best sport.

I think he gets moved bye the Leafs before he becomes a UFA

Bruins should get Ethan Bear ,kind of a natural isn’t he.Lol
I don’t think I have ever seen a team try and win a cup by trading away an elite player b

I've been a big fan of DeBrusk when he's on, but the slump he's in this year has me thinking we should try to move on. I would look to sell him at the deadline and try to use those assests for an upgrade.

I like the idea of Nylander coming here in the summer. Doesn't help the center but having another proven point producer up front would be very welcomed.

If I was willing to downgrade from Forbort to gain cap space I’d consider it. But alas…
You know, I never even considered the salaries. Good point.

Would you bring him here?
Winnipeg doesn't even trust him kill penalties and they're a pretty shitty PKing team.

I don't think the Bruins can add players who can't take ice time on specials, especially as, like MNK says, he'd be replacing Forbort.

I see.

The size, age, contract and physical stuff is intriguing. The Bruins' defensive structure would help, too.

Not sure if you’re serious or not but the massive overpassing and fancy plays that anyone could read leading to turnovers or dead plays.

How about the fact Marchy is pushing the puck across the ice cause he doesn’t seem to know how to play with a LH center yet and during this line being together he just doesn’t shoot when we need goals.

Lastly it comes down to getting balance Cassidy milked the Perfection line until that cow died and sure it was exciting but it handcuffed the other lines and to me it was even worse cause we had Krech then and we all knew they had chemistry too.

Got off topic my bad ..lol

Just curious on what you think Coyle was good at? Spitting on the ice?

I thought Lindholm was good up until that egregious AHL turnover up the boards that ended up in the net.

Coyle 10-6 on faceoffs was best on the team.

Killed penalties flawlessly.

His line was the only one to score. Not on for any goals against. Only Bruins to be plus players.

Don't recall an AHL turnover leading to a goal. Unless you mean the one where Brick blamed JVR for not beating Clifton back up the boards to take the pass from Lindholm.

He's a good third pair D who hits and fights. Speed and skill crowd will hate him so I like him, problem is injuries.

Worth taking chance on, he is certainly better than Mitchell.

No slight to Ian, but I think we can agree on that.

Sweeney probably won't even consider it.

Course not, he is big, physical and fights. Sweeney would be afraid to get a player like that. Probably trying to clone Grizz as he is a genius
