If there’s one thing that always works out, it’s acquiring a “power forward” on a long term contract entering his 30s.
Yeah but he dents stuff so it’s okIf there’s one thing that always works out, it’s acquiring a “power forward” on a long term contract entering his 30s.

He plays and gets hurt like Lysell did, that sets his development back. He needs to stay up here and PLAY.
Fan favorite, until the realization of his contract kicks in..........Wilson as a Bruin I'd just be over the moon. He's the toughness I'd take. He just needs a new team I think. At the cap level in 2 years his contract would be fine with the output he'll have here.
My god he'd become a fan fave.

Ristolainen would be a perfect physical third pair RD option.
I know you like players with truculence but starting next season Wilson will have a cap hit of $6.5 million for the next 7 seasons. Easy pass.![]()
I doubt Wilson is even available, the consensus I see from Caps fans is that he's next in line for the C whenever Ovi retires. But even if he were, he's a soon to be 30 power forward that has a 7 year extension kicking in next season, I'd avoid that. If we want that type of player, focus on finding the next Tom Wilson, don't overpay for the current one. If that makes any sense.
He’s allergic to Risto because he’s not an idiot.Which is why it won't happen. Sweeney is allergic.
Perfect 3rd pair options don't make 5 mil against the cap.Ristolainen would be a perfect physical third pair RD option.
50% retained is 2.5 million which is cheaper than ForbortPerfect 3rd pair options don't make 5 mil against the cap.
Why would they just sign extend him, trade him before the extension kicks in and retain, the GM, should, and would be ripped. So we attempt to have them retain else we don't take him? The Sharks did on EK.
Don't hold back.........hahaPlus, he's a f_ckface.

And how much do you think it will cost to have the Flyers retain 2.5 mil for nearly 3 and a half season on a player that they value?50% retained is 2.5 million which is cheaper than Forbort
Shattenkirk and a 2nd. Grizz and a 3rd???And how much do you think it will cost to have the Flyers retain 2.5 mil for nearly 3 and a half season on a player that they value?
Do you honestly think Risto would improve this squad? And we have a roster full of brilliant minded guys?
Team is berift of any type of snarl back there when McAvoy is out, and you don't want him to handle business. You would think guys like Sweeney and Neely would understand by now you're not going to go to far when it matters with a defense that doesn't get dirty.I've kind of just given up all hope that the roster would be constructed with a balance of skill and toughness, honestly. It's bad enough there's no one in the system, either.
Like I said, I'm just not really enjoying the on ice product this year at all. You know it's bad when you have Jeremy Swayman actively trying to clear his crease on a nightly basis because our defenders are too soft to even get their hands dirty.

The amount of goals scored on the Bruins from players not clearing the crease this season is absurd.I've kind of just given up all hope that the roster would be constructed with a balance of skill and toughness, honestly. It's bad enough there's no one in the system, either.
