I guess not worry.

Hes 6 months older. Was hoping Del Mastro was going to assume that role right away and would be NHL ready next year.
Del Mastro has gotten a lot of PP1 time, and is still playing PP2. Nothing wrong with giving Kaiser a go at it too, they are both important enough to give opportunity and development.

Milwaukee is ice cold with a 1 game losing streak (coming off a 19 game win streak). They are falling apart! Now is the time to strike.

Hogs win 4-2.

3 point night for Rem Pitlick with 2 goals and an assist, and for Brett Seney as well with 1 goal and 2 assists. Lukas Reichel set up Michal Teply for the Game Winner with 39 seconds left and then Brett Seney closed it out with an empty netter.

The injury bug keeps on keeping on as Mike Hardman left the game in the first period and did not return.

2 goal night for Cody Hodgson for Milwaukee, a former top 10 pick and NHL player that retired due to a rare disease, who has returned to pro hockey after an eight year absence.

1st period:

12:32 #20 Rem Pitlick ASST: #62 Brett Seney #38 Ethan Del Mastro

3rd period:
7:39 #20 Rem Pitlick ASST: #62 Brett Seney #42 Nolan Allan
19:21 #92 Michal Teply ASST: #27 Lukas Reichel
19:42 #62 Brett Seney ASST: #20 Rem Pitlick(EN)

Quick turnaround for Rockford, who is in Grand Rapids tomorrow @ 6:00 pm central.

Betcha $9.5 would have blown that set-up by Reichel...EdM has been playing to his all-star form..

Good redemption for Reichel. Earlier in the OT, Guttman set him up in alone with the goalie and he passed it back rather than shooting and Guttman got stripped from behind. He also was unimpressive during a 5 on 3 sequence and blew a few chances from my perspective. So a mixed bag performance, but 2 assists will get the confidence going. Back to back games with the primary assist on the game winner in a 2 on 1.

5 wins in a row for Rockford even with a lot of injuries still (Gust, Bjork, Dach, Hardman, and DMan Strand all out). Broke a big win streak for Grand Rapids after taking a bus overnight and a quick turnaround. Great resilience to go from down 3-1 to up 4-3 in a minute and a half in the third period.

Unfortunately, Kale Howarth (AHL/ECHL tweener) just can't stay healthy and left in the first period again.

Marcel Marcel and Andrew Perrott sent to Indy
Marcel pick was so dumb.

Pohlkamp and Dionicio go in that range and look like they could be decent bets to contribute. We’d rather take a double overager who has zero tools.

Take swings in the later rounds. High upside guys who might be something later. Not just random swings at nothing.

His tool was he's big. Technically a one time overager as he was a late 03 (eligible in the '22 Draft, but not the '21 Draft). He had a pretty good World Juniors too. Not saying it was a good pick necessarily but hard to expect much of anything out of 5th round picks. Can always look to so and so to say someone else is progressing better and should have been picked instead.

Hoping Katchouk clears and joins Icehogs…down two forwards, Beauvillier and Katchouk, Hawks will need to add one Sanford was waived awhile back as well, is he going down too?

He’s up for now. Anthanasiou will be back soon, same as Zaitsev. Also figure Slaggert/Nazar might potentially sign soon for the big roster.

Davidson made a few trades last deadline Bjork and Wagner to backfill the roster.
