One big loss from my viewing:

Lindstrom if he clear waivers today will replace Keeper at RD for the remainder of the season. Not a big loss.

Légaré was not very good this year outside of the PK , meh.

Bourque is a 4th line energy player but I think Yaremko can replace him fairly easily.

The biggest loss is Farrell, it's a shame that he's injured once again, they don'T have anyone to replace him unless Heineman is returning to Laval once Pearson is back?

Lindstom is gone to Anaheim. I guess Heineman will be back soon in Laval with RHP and Pearson back. I hope Lias Andresson will contribute more.

They play it rough internally in the Rocket. Article in French: https://www.tvasports.ca/2024/01/11...ogan-mailloux-a-remis-sa-saison-sur-les-rails

The big part: Mailloux was always late earlier in the season and his teammates didn't like it at all. They ended up cutting his skate laces for him to get the message.

Belleville is next I believe. Huge game and probably their biggest challenge in a while (since the last time they met). Hopefully they break the curse. They always find a way to look like crap whenever they play them. Belleville has had pretty solid goaltending over the years

Good to see the Rockets getting it together and winning more than earlier. any chance that Lias Andersson gets a chance to show what he can do with Montreal? He's scoring at an impressive level.

Going to see the game tonight! Hopefully plenty of goals, and secretly sad it's Dobes instead of Kaskisuo tonight

I haven't seen as many games as I've wanted, but Dobes moves a lot less than he did at the start of the year.

To me, that's why he's doing better coupled with the improved defensive play.

Or the defensive play just looks better because Dobes has lessened his movements

That doesn't make sense. The rookies were not the ones struggling the most.

The ones struggling the most were all vets or 2nd/3rd year guys.

You're not wrong. But Grant is also correct.

Dobes, Mailloux, Kidney, and Davidson are some rookies that started off real slow and have all picked their games up as the season went on.

And to your point, guys like Trudeau, as well as vets like Maillet started off real slow and have both been real effective and productive lately. And Norlinder continues to be a let down, especially production-wise.

Jan Mysak with a terrific night I'm at the point of thinking he deserves much more than what he is given being forever stuck on the fourth line.
Houle thinks he has no upside and the 4th line is good enough for him.
