The Ducks may need to invest in a better training and medical staff.
I'm saying that for years, ha. Even back in the Catlyle days our guys were constantly getting injured. Some are unavoidable but feels like we're always getting way too much some of the random injuries. Feels like the guys bodies are put under too much stress or smth (not a doc tho)

I think our players are missing more games because it’s about players not needing to play through injuries since the games are meaningless other than for padding stats.

But it would be nice to have the most advanced training facility and trainers. We are in superficial LA/OC… there are tons of elite trainers, maybe just not hockey specific… it does seem we are at a disadvantage for many years in this area…

Verbeek did add more personnel to our med/training staff at the NHL and AHL levels. It does seem odd we're made out of glass.

Gibson, Killorn, and Minty all participated in practice today. Killorn was skating on a 5th line and Minty was skating on a pair with Lyubushkin, as well as on a PP unit.

Looks like Minty could be back next game. I think Killorn is a week away. IMO

Hopefully we hear Zegras is starting to skate again, soon.

Possible that Zegras is just shut down for the rest of the year? What? 30 games left? Still can't even skate. Missed basically the entire year so his conditioning has to be absolute shit. Is there any real reason to have him back?

There's plenty. New coach, new system, and new linemates to get accustomed to. Not to mention he isn't a finished product and has been working on his 2-way game when he's in the lineup.

Thank you! I'm a passive fan (flyers fan living in Vegas, so I like to watch the teams that can beat up on VGK because I hate them haha).

I appreciate the inner-knowledge

Also, hes on a prove it deal and needs to do some more of that. They have been trying to transition him from center to wing and still needs to work on that too. There are a lot of reasons why he needs to come back and get in as much time as possible.
