Does traveling mean playing or just like there to watch
So far, injured players that guaranteed aren't playing have not been traveling with the team. It wouldn't make sense when they could have access to doctors/training facilities at home rather than the ones on the road. Just a guess, though.

Ducks posted a short instagram story of practice. I saw 2 people wearing a red jersey. One of them was almost definitely Zegras, and the other was far away so I couldn’t quite say for sure. It honestly didn’t look like McT, but it was far enough away that it could’ve been and I just couldn’t tell.

Drysdale in a black jersey could mean he finally returns to the lineup tomorrow:

I’m pretty sure he was in a black jersey on Tuesday, too. Maybe they want players to go through 2 full practices in a contact jersey? Who knows.
Black jerseys are just defensemen. They posted another video and Cam, Minty, and LaCombe are all wearing black jerseys.

Johnston is also in a red jersey in that same video so I don't think red = no contact, either. I think it's just black for defense and different colors for forwards.

Red is usually meant for no-contact. Usually the 4 forward lines are orange, grey, blue, and white (I think I’ve seen yellow sometimes, too). It could be that they are using red as a “5th line” set, which is why Johnston would be wearing it.

Yeah considering the similarities between red/orange discussed here I would have to imagine the non-contact would be noticeably different, like the yellow in the video

Johnston, Zegras, and MacT wearing red jerseys, most likely means extra line, expect all 3 scratched tomorrow. Groulx was in blue, along with Carrick. Terry and Leo both in Grey.

Looks from this morning's skate, Zegras was skating on a line with McTavish. Both in orange jerseys, wonder if thats a new line Cronin will roll with when they are back

What was the point of McTavish, Zegras and Drysdale going on the roadtrip if they weren't gonna play other than get fans excited and boost TV ratings ?

Well they are skating with the team in practice. You do want your kids to join team meetings and strategy

Got a back to back coming up. Only half way through the road trip. As far as traveling. Maybe building chemistry with their line mates, getting up to game speed as much as possible. Getting use to travel again. Many reasons why players travel with teams before coming back from injuries
