You're a Finn, why ever stop drinking beer whatsoever? I mean, Karhu Olun is quite decent...
Mostly due to reflux, makes it hell to even drink plain water sometimes. But I must say that I prefer Captain Sandels over any other market beers now that I can tolerate this again.

Prost!

already looking like a lost season for zegras. not good
I mean that’s a pretty large overreaction. It’s November if he is back sometime before Christmas and plays out the season and plays well I wouldn’t consider it a lost season at all. He’s missed 6 games…..

problem is we have no idea how long he'll be out or the severity of his injury

I think at the very least we're getting close to the point where they will both likely have 'disappointing' seasons. I'd be very surprised if Zegras for example contributes more than 50 points this year when all is said and done. it's gonna be lower than that, potentially by a lot, in all likelihood. If he were to return a month from now (could be optimistic, who knows) he'd have to be around ppg the rest of the way.

If nothing else, it may put a dent in the cost to re-sign him after his current deal is up.

Just trying to be positive.

Z was pretty visible in that video that they shared the other day for Hockey Fights Cancer night with Coach Stothers. And he was at his locker and wasn't in street clothes. Clearly he isn't skating, but he at least is with the team and I assume getting treatment, doing work in the gym, etc.

So hopefully that means whatever the issue is, it isn't overly serious.

Many thought the same thing for Drysdale when he was signing autographs earlier this season, only to still not be seen on the ice. ::: sad face :::

Yes, but that was also a fan event. Z was actually in workout gear, in the locker room, with the team. So hopefully that’s a different situation.

Re: JD and TZ injuries, is it weird that we aren’t given any guidance regarding length of time till potential comeback. I mean when Killeen broke his finger we were told 4-6 weeks etc.

Why do you think these injuries aren’t given a similar guidance?

I think its mainly due to casual fans not wanting to go to games if Zegras is out 2 months.
It makes things seem more pessimistic if it were announced weeks ago that Zegras is out 6 to 8 weeks.
If I had to guess the casual fans still think Zegras is the face of the franchise and the teams best scorer.

Entirely possible they don't know, depending what the injury is. Better not to give a concrete timetable than to give one that turns out to be wrong.
