Michkov failed to crack a KHL lineup this season. Made a weaker KHL team now after getting loaned but he has been healthy scratched by Sochi as well.

Button is a joke but Michkov may very well just not be as good as many people assumed.
He missed time due to injury not scratch since going to Sochi.

He has the highest points, and PPG of any D+1 player in KHL history. In fact he would be 6th (ahead of Panarin) in points and 4th in PPG (ahead of Kuznetsov and behind Kaprizov) if you include D+2 players in that also.

Holding it against him because he didnt crack SKAs lineup is kind of funny. He needs a top 6 role to develop and SKA is the best team in the league. He is 18.

It's okay. You probably just missed a bit of info:

He was healthy scratch for Sochi as well. This one here is a pretty good example. He played horribly vs Kunlun, was on the ice and partly to blame for all 4 goals against in a game Sochi lost 2-4. Michkov was -3 after the first period. Then got scored on again in the 2nd period on his second shift I believe. Played 11mins until then but was benched for the rest of the game and healthy scratched for the next one vs Minsk.

If he was as good as people think he'd make any KHL team. KHL isn't what it once was.

Interesting, haven’t watched any KHL but 38 in 45 as a +1 in that league seems super impressive, guess there’s more to it than that though

Zegras got benched for mistakes also. He is still a great player.

I dont really care... I dont have a dog in this fight, but you can't deny the production.

Me neither. There are just lots of red flags with Michkov and I don't think he's quite as good as people thought. Button is a joke but I don't think Michkov is the best prospect outside of the NHL either. The same goes for Gauthier though but these are just my two Cents anyway.

I remember Michkov being tried out at center last year with Sochi. Is Michkov still being experimented at center still?

Cutter's current pace compared to the goal scoring leader from each of the previous ten NCAA seasons.

Over the past 30 seasons going back to 1994-95, the highest goal total is shared by a few different guys at 38 goals.
