Knowing how excited he was to join the Ducks specifically makes me even more hopeful for Sidorov's progress... Know he's an overager but think there's potential there

Between Sidorov and Pastujov, hopefully one of them can be a hit at the NHL level. Pasta hit a wall going into the AHL, but tore up the OHL. Let's hope either one can improve their speed to be able to play in the pros.

Ducks Prospects, Nov 6: Juniors

- A third Ducks' prospect fell to injury who was scoring around a point-per-game in "Hot Rod" Dionicio. Terrible luck!

- Sidorov improving his scoring rate to 1.50 ppg.

- Terrance trying to maintain his scoring rate at 1.25 ppg.

- Hvidston was supposed to be out a few weeks. He should be coming back soon, hopefully.

Ducks Prospect, Nov 6: NCAA

NCAA, Nov 6.png

The only shining light we have is RW Sam Colangelo! He is third in team scoring and tied for first in team goals scored. In the NCAA, he's ranked tied at 11th for goal scoring. At 6'2 and 209 lbs, the scoring RW senior may give the Ducks a glimmer of hope for a potential top-6 RW into the future. If he keeps up this scoring, then it is possible GM Verbeek will sign him at the end of his college season.

On the other end of the spectrum, Kukkonen is struggling to find the back of the net after scoring 18 goals last year. It feels like Kukkonen isn't part of the top line this year.

Ducks Prospects: Europe and NHL

Europe, Nov 6.png

- Both goalies took a hit recently. Clara took the biggest hit, dropping to below 0.900.

- Sundsvik scored a goal!

NHL, Nov 6.png

- G Dostal won rookie for the month of October in the NHL.

- LaCombe is playing top pairing minutes as a RD. Led the team in TOI overall and on the PK in their recent game against Vegas.

- ! Mintyukov es "muy caliente"! He is currently tied for 1st place in scoring for rookies!

- Luneau was sent down to the AHL for potentially a two-week conditioning stint.

Ducks Prospects, Nov 6: AHL and ECHL

AHL ECHL, Nov 6.png

- Regenda is at a point-per-game pace.

- Perreault has found his scoring touch this past week again.

- King is a very nice surprise after a muted rookie tourney and pre-season appearances.

- G Clang is looking very solid despite the Gulls in a six-game losing streak.

- Our goalies at the ECHL level look abysmal. Dunno if it's them or the lack of talent in front of them?

Ranking our rookies, isn't Leo our 4th best rookie?

1. Minty (enough said)
2. Dostal (NHL's rookie of the month)
3. LaCombe (playing top pair minutes)
4. Leo
That reminds me that the Ducks prospect pool takes a big hit next season when all of those are considered graduated.
Next years prospect list looks something like Zellweger, Luneau, Hvidston, Hinds at the top.

I think Luneau will make a name of himself this year with further AHL play and hopefully WJC. Zell should be decent as well, but yeah, it takes a big hit. Any pool would take a big hit when there are 4 graduates of that scale  We went on to draft a lot of character guys which is nice I guess, but... well, it's debatable let's leave it at that

At least with Pronman's best prospects Under-23 years old, the Ducks will still rank high and maybe keep #1 overall rating. Mac, Mintyukov, and Carlsson is an amazing three-headed monster! Then we throw in Zell, Luneau, and Hinds.

Several of the guys on the Gulls could do with a stretch in the ECHL...most notably Pastujov, Gaucher, and McLaughlin.

Perreault has 5 points in 7 games and is a +3. Still holding out hope there.
Big disappointment on some of the others but it’s early
It's too bad we're loaded on older forwards in the bottom 6... I'd like to see what he does with 2 better players, running Henrique/Killorn-Zegras-Perrault 3rd line would give him two solid NHL players and weaker matchups to produce better.

Hawks fan but I’m a student at Michigan Tech so I figured I’d provide some insight on Kukkonen for you guys.

1. He’s still playing a big role. 20ish minutes most nights. Our top line from last year (which Kukkonen was a part of) was split to start this year but have been together the past two weekends

2. I’m not convinced that he’s 100% healthy. Just hasn’t looked like himself in most games. Lacking explosiveness compared to last year and doesn’t seem to trust his shot right now. This past weekend was much better though. No points but played his two best games of the year and finally generated some offense

I think he’ll be fine long term. Easily the most talented player I’ve seen come through here. Still think there’s a good chance he’ll play nhl games some day.

His aunt is our AD and his brother is also on the team so I while he could always sign early, I wouldn’t be surprised to see him stay all 4 years
