B-Sens 2023-24 Belleville Senators

  • We sincerely apologize for the extended downtime. Our hosting provider, XenForo Cloud, encountered a major issue with their backup system, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of some critical data from the past year.

    What This Means for You:

    • If you created an account after March 2024, it no longer exists. You will need to sign up again to access the forum.
    • If you registered before March 2024 but changed your email, username, or password in the past year, those changes were lost. You’ll need to update your account details manually once you're logged in.
    • Threads and posts created within the last year have been restored.
    • Our 2025 light and dark themes were lost, so we are rebuilding them. Light theme is currently available, but work in progress

Our team is working with Xenforo Cloud to recover data using backups, sitemaps, and other available resources. We know this is frustrating, and we deeply regret the impact on our community. We are taking steps with Xenforo Cloud to ensure this never happens again. This is work in progress. Thank you for your patience and support as we work through this.

In the meantime, feel free to join our Discord Server
Unlikely.

The real problem is that he can't play for Belleville even if he clears, so it's kind of pointless to demote him other than for cap purposes.
Can he not play at all, or just not in the playoffs?

That said, waiving him would only happen for cap purposes anyways. Would they worry about subtracting from Belleville in the midst of a playoff run, yeah, maybe.

I agree he likely wouldnt be claimed but I think it would be a consideration

March 14 cut off to be on the AHL roster. ..

Roster Notes:

Forward Wyatt Bongiovanni returned to the lineup last night for his first game in nearly a month; he tallied an assist on the team’s opening goal. You can click here for a full list of up-to-date transactions, with full lineup details ahead of game time via the Belleville Sens social channels (@BellevilleSens).

Who to Watch:

Three Senators enter the game with point streaks through the team’s three-game win streak. Defenceman Jeremy Davies has two goals and two assists in that span, while reigning AHL Player of the Week Jan Jenik has a whopping two goals and seven assists. Finally, newcomer Tristan Robins has three assists in his last three straight.

Jacob Quillan and Topi Niemela scored for Toronto last night; it was Niemela’s first goal of the season in his 54th game. Quillan’s goal, his fourteenth of the season, was also his fourth of the season series against Belleville, tying him with Alex Steeves for the team lead against the Sens.

Cole Reinhardt just blew up Matt Murray behind the net. Got a major for charging.

Pretty bad call after seeing a couple replays. Definitely should be 2 for interference, but a major is crazy.

Must have been bad enuf to take Murray out of the game as the backup took over for the 3rd.

As soon as Reinhardt left the penalty box after serving his penalty he was in a fight with Reese Johnson
