Speculation: 2023-24-25-26 Sharks Roster Discussion

  • If you are having issues logging in, we have found opening the log in page in a new tab/window rather than using the pop out should resolve these issues. We are working to get this resolved and thank you for patience.
  • Due to the increased volume of league transactions, the Trade Rumors and Free Agent Talk section is temporarily restricted to where threads may only be started by moderators and sponsors. We anticipate that this restriction will be lifted some time after the first round of the draft.
For any old goalie, I would agree. That said, they have to have seen Florida load up to beat their tails again next year and realize they need an upgrade somewhere.

Would also probably be good business for them to get their slice of the Team USA brotherhood to try and lure some others (Larkin maybe?) their way.
The place Carolina needs to upgrade is first line center

Seattle’s 7th overall pick being a part of a proposed and agreed trade framework for a Robertson trade before he declined the contract offer from Seattle leads me to believe maybe we can get him for 9th +++
It was also an 8 year 15M AAV....I'm not crazy about giving him that kind of money, the team will quickly become cap strapped once all of the kids come off of their ELCs and we still have no blueline. But yes this does indicate if Grier offers 9th OA +++ he could get Robertson, assuming Robo is willing to sign here.

Read the entire Chicago thread on their trade, fascinating

It's a bizarre mix of sky is falling realizations of their inept management, smartest-guy-in-the-room copium that they just got their #1D of the future and Byram is actually a stud, and. . . a WEIRD amount of Sharks shit-talk

Not beating the obsessed allegations anytime soon, I see
If you enjoy Chicago schadenfreude, this podcast is an entertaining listen.

In before Robo declines because California taxes are too high.

I'm also wondering what he wants if he doesn't want 8 x 15M aav.

But damn I'd love Pinoy Pavs in Teal!
Could be he wants a long term fit. From that perspective San Jose makes a lot of sense, spend 8 years getting fed pucks by Celebrini, the window of contention opens soon, plus he's from California. Sharks also have the cap to fit what he wants. Though we better hope the cap goes up by the time everyone needs new contracts.

Celly is already going to massively impact the new TV deal in a couple years but add in an Asian-American superstar too?? This should be HUGE for Hasso, not just Grier because of this.
