Not saying he’d be a top 10 pick, but if they redrafted it wouldn’t shock me if Bonk would be projected to go higher. Been watching a lot of OHL/CHL this year, he’s fun
Decent size according to HockeyDB Sam O'Reilly Hockey Stats and Profile at hockeydb.comWednesday is the CHL prospects game, NHL Network televised.
The usual suspects, but one kid to watch is Sam O'Reilly, London Knights, probably the fastest skater on the Knights; even faster than Barkey.
The list of 40 players:
7-8 games is usually the standard for micro stats.6 games only though
Another THN article on Bonk: https://thehockeynews.com/ohl/playe...reak-how-his-offensive-potential-has-improvedIf you saw rhe recap, his 2nd goal was a ripper, from the same spot as Tippett and Foester. As everyone says, his 1st goal was loose puck from bumper position.
Barkey has at least one game suspension, feisty MFer.

Well, his dad was a pretty good player and a big, strong man, so if Ollie fills out at all, he's going to be a beast, with his hockey sense and budding O.Honestly, I hope he becomes a top 4 mainstay. He's got a cool ass name.
He is projected to be NOT on the Flyers. JK but could not resist. I'm not confident he will sign with the Flyers...Not sure if this is the correct thread but anyone have thoughts on Massimo rizzo? Projections?
I've seen about 7 or so games from Rizzo and been keeping an eye on him through twitter. Not sure if this is the correct thread but anyone have thoughts on Massimo rizzo? Projections?
What's his skating look like? That was his biggest knock.I've seen about 7 or so games from Rizzo and been keeping an eye on him through twitter.
He's an awesome passer with great vision. Offensively mature - often times does something positive with the puck. Also loves when the puck is on his stick, he actively taps the ice when the puck isn't on his stick. Good puck handling too, is used to enter the zone on the PP, and is a half-wall player. Decent defensively as well.
on CBS Sports on Friday Denver (Rizzo) plays against North Dakota (McLaughlin). I'll be watching that game.
I have no idea about projections. His scoring is great, but he's also 22. Get him some time in the AHL and see how he does.
I'm not a skating expert, but it seems fine. He has decent lateral movement, lacks top end speed, but isn't slow. Acceleration is just okay. I don't think it will skating that prevents him from being an NHL player, but he'll need to play with urgency. He's clearly playing well enough at the college level, but I just wonder will he be able to process at the NHL level. What's his skating look like? That was his biggest knock.
