Tuomaala
Lycksell
Desnoyers
Avon as a 4th line forechecker
Gendron has a shot, depends how he progresses this season
Fair enough though disagree on well all of them as of right now; def not with the flyers. Maybe Avon who I like just wish he had better coaching. .

So in 5 season's snice he left 107 games. 21 a season. Impressive.

What about guys who has a continues run of playing 60/65 plus games year? Not 15 here or 20 there over the course of 10 years.

Rinaldo was also a solid bottom line player. Either way those Flyers prospects you mentioned I would not hold my breath on being NHL players.

The whole point of the AHL is to try and develop marginal prospects into bottom 6/bottom 3 starters.

Your best prospects rarely spend more time in the AHL than needed for a couple cups of coffee.

It's the guys with limitations who need enough experience to learn how to compensate for those limitations.

Yet they have a coach who hasn't done that at all really.

Flyers cant even draft/develop a 4th line. A frigging 4th line.

Do you not see a path for him to get NHL time this season?
Not without injuries, unless he suddenly takes his game up a tier or two.
He's not in the same class as Shesterkin or Sorokin. Not sure he's a NHL backup right now, much less a future starter.

Right now I think they want to give Ersson and Fedetov a full season to show whether they're in future plans.
Next season Bjarnason will be in LHV, Zavragin in his 2nd KHL season.
So it's a fairly tight window for Kolosov.

Disagree. Sam and Ivan have a lot to prove. They could very well not be all that good or they can show they are solid. He does his part there is def a path imo. Especially if the goalies are costing them games.

Bjarnason and Zavragin are non-factors at this point.

Don't care that he isn't in the Shesterkin or Sorokin class as it is meaningless. Were you not talking Kolosov up at one point?

Kolosov might have a future, but so far he hasn't been an elite KHL goalie.

They don't want to pay a NHL salary so he can party in Minsk, they want him in the AHL, so they can see him in person on a regular basis and decide what his future will be with the Flyers.

Kolosov is...
1. Scheduled to get the majority of starts in the AHL
2. First guy called up in case of an injury (as long as it goes well in Lehigh Valley)

If Kolosov has a good 2024-2025 in the AHL he...
1. Most likely makes the organization move 33 or 82 to get him in Philadelphia full time 2025-2026

There's a legitimate path to the NHL if he wants it.

True, but he can make a lot more money in the KHL in 24-25.

What is his salary in the KHL?
He's on his ELC so he's being paid by the Flyers and loaned to Minsk.

If he breaks his contract, Flyers retain rights but he gets paid by Minsk, so probably $200-300K instead of $975K.

So from the Flyers' perspective, if he won't come over, let him play in the KHL, costs them nothing, they retain his rights, and he can continue to develop.

Right. Now does he get the 975k if he is on the Phantoms? My understanding is only if in the NHL. Otherwise, an AHL salary.

Flyers also paid him 975k to play in Russia last season I believe. He is doing the Flyers dirty IMO if he doesn't come over. At least seems that way on the surface.

He would make much more on the back end if he truly is an NHL level goalie. Is making a few hundred thousand the difference as to why he won't come over? As usual with the Flyers there is probably much more to this story.
