Could be worst for sure . Not sure why the blues would do this .What about Saad retained at 50%? $2.25M for the next 3 years.
Still on the Hall train lol. I admire the commitment to him.Okay, just hear me out…..
Lehkonen-MacKinnon-Rantanen
Hall-Johansen-Nichushkin
Forget the NMC stuff for a second. Say you get him on the same deal as Johansen, you guys still out on him?
Guy had 4 points in 23 games when we beat Tampa for the Cup. How is that perfect for playoff hockey lol.I'd love to see Killorn this team but fear the price will be too high for a 34 year old. Perfect guy for playoff hockey like Lehk, just shows up when needed most.
Stay the f*** away from players in their mid 30's that just had good/great seasons.Guy had 4 points in 23 games when we beat Tampa for the Cup. How is that perfect for playoff hockey lol.
He'd have to play with Mack. If he doesn't get a contract offer elsewhere we can always invite him on a PTO and see what happens from there.Wonder if Drouin is still a fit as a cheap project after trading for RyJo. Not sure if Drouin and RyJo would work well together, so that leaves his options on the 1st or 3rd line. If Newhook is still here... well he already fills the role as a potentially useless skill guy on the 3rd line, which leaves him playing with Mack.
But he's still appealing as a cheap project and gives us flexibility with what happens with Landy. Gurianov ship has sailed IMO.
Lehkonen with RyJo and Rants though.Yea I'd not want Galchenyuk with Drouin or RyJo either.
Drouin-RyJo-Rants would be the lazyiiest line in the league. Especially Rants on a bad day.
I would prefer if the Avs stay away from Toffoli unless it’s literally free. The identity of this team is speed and adding too many players who can’t skate could cause some issues.
We saw how a team with speed can dominate both in our runs and with how Seattle played best against us.
I can just imagine the friendly “helmet toss” game they can play for Avs charities.Garland makes a lot of sense.

He's been pushing for that on 32T for a few weeks. IDK if he knows something, or he just wishes for it to happen.Jeff Marek dropped Detroit as the "likely" destination for DeBrincat while on NHL Radio this morning.
Man I really hate Detroits rebuild right now. Obviously have some decent pieces in Seider, Raymond, Larkin. But Larkin isn‘t really a cup winning 1C don’t think, they spent pretty poorly last FA, and spending assets on Cat doesn’t really fill any holes there. Obviously had some bad luck in the draft lottery, but I’m losing faith in the Yzerplan.Jeff Marek dropped Detroit as the "likely" destination for DeBrincat while on NHL Radio this morning.
As for the Avs, the acquisition of Johansen — who could be a good fit as a second-line center with a now-$4 million AAV — doesn’t necessarily close the door on re-signing pending UFA center J.T. Compher. My understanding is that the Avs would like to try to bring him back. But it’s got to work for them. Compher had a career-high 52 points this past season, so the allure of July 1 might be too difficult to ignore if there’s a chance of getting more than $5 million a year. We’ll see if the Avs can find a number that works for both sides in the next six days.
