That's the problem. Keeping either might preclude adding someone better. And yes, it's been said before that you'd need to not have them on the roster for Bednar not to over rely on either. They're like Pena from Moneyball.

Both say no. Son of Bednar will laugh all the way to the bank on July 1st (or sooner if a team is interested in trading for his rights) and Avs fans will just plain laugh at the contract handed out.

Everybody laughs except for the fans of the team that signs him... There's going to be some serious coping going on there kinda like when Kerfoot was gonna be a Selke candidate for the leafs.

Of all the potential candidates, it feels like Sharangovich is our most realistic target. Fits Avs MO to a tee and would fit really well next to Mackinnon IMO (hopefully with Nuke there too). Plus we have a recent trading history with NJ. Would love to find a way to get Graeme Clarke along with him but don't see why NJ would include him in this deal.

If we can get him, a guy like Comtois and another winger like JVR/someone all for the same amount of $ as Landeskog that's some pretty good cap well spent. Then use Girard/Newhook/1st to go out and get that 2C

7 months no sleep chronic gerd with no relief , gasterenterologist appointments and tests to see if I am candidate for surgery. Symptoms changing all the time withbfrog like gurgles coning out of the throat now and globua sensation driving me insane.

Alcoholic on day 4 to see if can improve symptoms as alcohol makes it all go away.

Ativan holding me on and waiting til Monday to see reccommendations from another gastroenterologist who suggested anxiety meds and antispasmodic meds for spasms in the throat which feels liks your being choked and what not and for he last test a ph impedence to see if surgery is a go.and an ultra sound on liver and gallbladder.


The globus thing is enough to do oneself in. Very frustrating.

So long story short tomorrow I drink cause cant stand this, which will.make me feel better for the day but aggravate the gerd all the more.

If you've ever had globus sensation and gurgling out of the throat give suggestions if you can. It's down right intolerable

Ppi's not working anymore so hoping for surgery at this point

I hope Landy gets a hold of his buddy, OEL, and asks him to sign with the Avs for cheap. 1 year/$1M. I’d be fine with $2M, too.

OEL will probably get something like 3.5M X 4 somewhere.

I don’t like JTC’s current price tag. I sure as hell am not up for a raise.

What am I missing on OEL where people are saying outside of his contract he's a good d-man? I see a dude that played over 900 minutes of 5v5 with a 45.24 xGF% but only an actual GF% of 38.54%. This is a good defender?

for a #4/bottom pairing D, you could do a lot worse than OEL.



ps: with the way JTC is being trashed recently on these boards, Im now totally expecting him to sign a 5M deal somewhere and put up a 80 points Selke winning performance next season. lol

OEL in 21-22 was a legitimate 2nd pairing defender who lost some of his offense but seemed to defend better than he ever has.

Then he got hurt in the offseason and was unplayable last season. Who knows if this is who he will be moving forward but if it is, he will be out of the league entirely in 2/3 years max.
