How come every time the Celtics have a chance to tie the game, they wait until the game clock is down to like 1, then they take a stupid heave shot....damn get a good shot earlier and have a chance at a rebound

In the end it doesn't mean that much right now but I think it just enhances the doubts about the Celtics being a title winning team. Maybe that isn't fair but 9 point lead at home late in 3rd quarter...good opportunity for another statement win against defending champs.

I agree somewhat, & to be honest I am curios to see what their adds/add will be.

This team needs to be smarter (and not marcus). That sequence when they had like 5-6 offensive rebounds, and couldn't score was fatal. Take a timeout, settle down and get a good shot instead of trying for a fancy play

An observation about Jaylen Brown. Do you think I am correct?

1) Mostly, when Jaylen has a big night point-wise, it is in a game where the extra points don't matter.
2) When Jaylen has a big night with points, he usually has few assists.
3) Jaylen is usually the player with the most turnovers in a game, especially when he thinks he is the star of that game; maybe he is the star, but he doesn't change the turnover numbers
4) It is rare that Jaylen has a big night when needed.
5) Jaylen is usually just so-so or less against the top teams. This causes concerns for the playoffs because he tries to take over these games. Ego, most fans watching.
6) all NBA players have big egos. Jaylen has one of the most enormous egos. This ego gets in the way of winning games
7) Jaylen has not won a championship for Boston
8) Jaylen has not been the best player trying to bring home the championship.
9) Jaylen usually has a bad game when needed in a championship run
10) Jaylen Brown is overrated, in his mind, in Boston and the NBA.

It's called "Mazzulla ball." Though Brown and Tatum are not exactly unselfish.

Whoah. They were struggling defensively and did not feel right, but still a surprise. I wonder if they have a vet in mind?

Giannis picked him to be the coach. They could have had Nick Nurse but chose Griffin because he's who Giannis wanted. Doc has a reputation as a choker who is slow to make adjustments and it's not undeserved but he's not a bad coach.


That team is just flawed. Great offense but besides Giannis and Lopez who plays defense? You play drop like they did under Bud then you give up a lot of open three pointers and if you want to switch everything even Lopez becomes less effective on defense and you have 4 guys on the court you can hunt.
