He’s been awful tonight as predicted
He went 35/11 against the best team in the league besides us in a close win with his shooting guard counterpart being Anthony Edwards, it’s a silly narrative. I like you but you are irrational about Jaylen Brown and I’m not even that huge of a fan of his game myself. He’s a max player by every definition of the term in the modern nba, and if he was a free agent he would get max offers from every team that has space

But he dribbles the ball off his foot too often so *shrug*

It isn’t. What just happened is exactly why I hate him. Drops 35 against Minnesota and does really cool dunks that get everyone excited. But when you’re down by 3 with 2 minutes left and he goes to the line…he’s missing the free throws. Chance to redeem himself off a rebound and a wide open three, he’s missing the shot. He’ll turn the ball over and miss open shots when the game’s on the line. You should want the ball in the hands of a max player when the game is in the line. I want Brown far away from the ball in those situations

I’ll be willing to give him all the credit in the world when he shows up for a whole playoff run. Until then I told you I don’t care what he does in January vs Memphis. But like I said he’ll score 40 vs Houston next game and everyone will be excited again

That was a smart ass play by Jokic

It is, you arbitrarily pick and choose what games matter and which ones don’t. The Minnesota game was inarguably a huge one but it means nothing because you don’t feel like counting it as one. Mainly because Jaylen had an unreal game and it would trash the narrative that he only shows up against irrelevant teams (which btw he was our best player in the finals 2 years ago). And he’s shooting 48/36/74 in the playoffs for his career

We can agree to disagree and I’ll stop posting so much about it. But I don’t post here that much and I just happened to say tonight this is the exact type of game hell no show for and he did.

On another note if they make it to the finals and have to play Denver I think they’re screwed over the course of a series

This league is completely unwatchable. It doesn't even feel like basketball when the pressure ramps up; it's some demented ref opera with everyone complaining at all times.

The Celtics are 32-10 but must be .500 in the games i watch. Jokic and Murray shot 67% tonight and they only lost by 2 but until the C's actually do it i'm always going to be sceptical this team can get it done playing this way once they reach the Conference finals or nba finals and are playing the other tier 1 teams in the league.

Relying on the streakiest shot in basketball to take you through four series and at least two series against top 8 players in the league is hard. Being one of the teams near the top of the league for opponents 3 point attempts per game just makes it harder as you're more vulnerable to series like the Heat last year where they just couldn't miss from deep.

Did anyone see the comment Mazzulla made about the last shot and talking about Gary Washburn.

Joe can be such a whiny baby

Sometimes i feel like i come across as a Mazzulla hater, i actually think he's pretty funny but he reminds me of the hockey analytics community where they give zero ground in anything. It's their way or nothing and you're an idiot if you don't subscribe to their models, you see it with Mazzulla in how the team plays and how he deals with the media.

Mazzulla's beef with Gary Washburn because he said they shoot too many threes is just strange. He's a 2nd year head coach with the arrogance or confidence of someone who's got the resume of Spoelstra and whose team underperformed their talent in his first season.

the same things are being said about the refs in the NFL games, the NHL, I don't follow MLB or Soccer.

I also couldn't care less about this RS home win streak. Look up how this team has performed at home in the playoffs. It ain't pretty. They deserve all the criticism when they lose games like this because it just reinforces the doubts everyone has about them being able to win a title. The pressure is only gonna mount and especially if you have best record in the league.

Another great victory for Mazzulla ball. Get him out of here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They might as well not even have a coach coming out for third quarters, at the end of quarters, and especially during the last four minutes of games. Fire him before he wastes all this talent.

Mazzulla absolutely has a screw loose. Whether this guy keeps it together is a legit concern.

That's the point isn't it.
