Made it through the first quarter.

I can barely do regular season hockey at this point, let alone regular season basketball.

However, this loss will provide plenty of fodder for fans and sports talk radio hosts in terms of this team and coach’s inability to win in the clutch.

The only thing that’ll squash that narrative is a parade come June.

should I buy tickets for the parade? I think not .

Celtics should be ashamed of themselves for how they played in the Indiana game. they were the only favorite to lose, I think. 16 or 17 turnovers, unusual White had 5, usual Brown had 3 and Brown missed 5 shots in a row in the 3rd qtr.

Maybe Tatum and Brown will fail to deliver a title again, #18. they fail to do well in big games.

I thought the tournament was a stupid idea but I really wanted them to win it and it was the most I cared about regular season basketball in ages. Now I just hope the Lakers don't win it because if they do they'll be insufferable.

Celtics vs. Knicks
Boston wins 133-123, actually; the Knicks were never in it.
Jaylen Brown was a Boston Celtic's embarrassment. He needs to be taught that his actions were unacceptable. Brown was accessed technical fouls, plus he was thrown out of the game. I expect the league to get involved with him, and he will be fined; I hope the fine is significant enough to convey that what Brown did was unacceptable.

Unacceptable?

What's unacceptable is the pathetic, baby shit soft officiating against him tonight.

Give him a tech for the vulgar language, which is the rule, but is so wildly inconsistent in terms of how it's enforced. Fine.

The second and subsequent ejection? Absolute joke. Clown level officiating there.

If THAT is the threshold for a "wave off", then people like Draymond should probably be tossed every single game.

I don't know how I feel about this. It feels beneath a franchise like the Lakers!
To me it feels exactly like something that franchise would do. Hell they still take full credit for the 5 NBA championships that were won by the team when they were in Minneapolis. The Lakers have 12 NBA championships in LA so I think it's funny when their fans ( especially the ones on this board ) claim that both the Boston Celtics and LA Lakers have won 17 NBA championships. :shakehead

AFTER? or did you mean before
No I mean after. They apparently killed the parents and then used their credit card to buy tickets to the game. I didn't realize it took the cops almost 7 months to arrest these two for the murders.

That's wild. Maybe that was a trend setting murder in that if something like that happened today I would think they'd be in custody within hours. Imagine watching the news about parents being murdered and then seeing the kids courtside at a Knicks game.

Looks like the Thunder are staying put in OKC.

Residents voted to keep the team in OKC for 50 more years and impose a 1 cent tax to fund improvements to upgrade the Paycom Center.
Phenomenal news especially with the new arena for OU Basketball likely getting green lit In the next few weeks.
