Considering that the Quebec goverment had to pay the Kings $7M for them to play 2 preseason games in their empty arena, it means that Quebec will never be a NHL market again.

Ya, I lost all hope when I heard about that.

1) Quebec will never get a team
2) The Quebec government stupidity never ends.

Watching Barbashev of Vegas absolutely flatten Xhejari of the Habs in a clean shoulder vs shoulder hit makes me think he would have been the perfect acquisition for last years playoffs. That guy is a beast.
Jackeye left with shoulder went down tunnel.Bruins won't miss him if it's anything serious.

I just watched the Toronto versus Detroit highlights. Detroit blew it and Bertuzzi is picking it up. He still can't check his hat so that makes him a bad fit for Toronto. I don't want him back because of that either.

I question he Yzerplan. They have a cornerstone in Seider and he stole a couple of first from us and Van, but there is a lot of patchwork mediocrity there and I don't think Larkin, Raymond and Edvinsson are enough to carry it.

Detroit is pretty good up front but have bad d and goaltending. They need to address both areas if they want to be a playoff team
