I know, but Vancouver isn’t a tough team nor would there be retribution on the Leafs minds.
Absolutely, but think of the difficulty of having him on the ice against Vancouver? They have a +33 goal differential, tops in the league. If you put a human pylon like Reaves on the ice against a skilled team like them, his +/- could be a lot worse by the end of the night. We are talking a potential touchdown here.

Bobby McMann was brought up to take Reaves's place in the Leaf's lineup last night. He put up 2 assists and was a +2. He now has 2 more points than Reaves on the season. We may not see Reaves in their lineup next time we play.

If Lucic is in the lineup Reaves will be in the lineup.

Jeremy Lauzon with his first point of the season tonight.

Flyers seem to be turning things around after embarrassing loss to Sharks.

What;s up with Colorado?

Surprised it took them this long. No excuse to be as bad as they've been with that kind of talent. Probably a good move by Edmonton to try to salvage the season before things get out of hand. They still have plenty of time to turn things around.

The team has massive issues in net. Campbell would have trouble stopping a beach ball and was waived and Skinner wouldn't know clutch goaltending if it ran him over.
They might get a bump but can't see it changing anything materially unless Claude Julien takes the job...lol.

I think the Oilers decided to fire Woodcroft after the San Jose game, but waited until the end of their road trip to drop the axe. Very 'gallant' gesture on behalf of Edmonton.

They needed to negotiate with Knoblauch and convince the Rangers to let him go.
