Have to agree there. Wasn’t even that much of a high stick. Looked like it barely hit him. No blood.

Brendan Smith laid a big (clean) hit on Connor Bedard, who left the game and didn't return.

Nick Foligno with the response.

Good teaching moment for Bedard. Great player but if he thinks he can just skate through open ice like that and leave himself open for big hit? He’s gonna get hit big.

PK Subban on ESPN said he thought Cousins was in the right and was 'smart' to suck Zucker into giving away a penalty. Tells you all you need to know about that guy.

I had to bear witness to PK Subban's "analysis" twice this week (Pens vs. Caps and Pens vs. Bruins).

He is the worst in-studio analyst I have ever seen, maybe in any sport. He's a human cliche machine, rarely if ever offers any sort of insight into the sport or the game they are commentating on. Basically the polar opposite of Bieksa. Subban is full of mindless cliches with little to no substance. Doesn't seem like he understands the game at all. May explain when he's athleticism dropped off, he was no longer an effective NHL player. He must of been a dream to coach (sarcasm).

When he's not dropping countless cliches, he's sprinkling in awkward jokes (like asking Auston Matthews if he could bunk on his couch during All-Star Weekend) and awful hot takes like praising a weasel coward like Nick Cousins. We shouldn't be surprised on his take regarding Cousins/Zucker, that was pretty much the MO of the entire Hab team back during PK's days in the bleu, blanc, et rouge.

I'd take Bergy or Zee as an analyst over Subban. Yes, most people would say they're boring. Whatever. They need guys who have actual hockey IQ if the goal is actually to analyze the game.
