I can't imagine any team wanting to take Laine and his contract on, even with some cap help from CBJ.
5-0 now! Gotta love it!Columbus is tearing up Tranna....
it's a good thing....
Not to mention, he was a ghost in the playoffs when he was in WInnipeg.I can't imagine any team wanting to take Laine and his contract on, even with some cap help from CBJ.
Dude hasn't played 60 or more games in a season since 2019-20. He's dead-last in +/- this season for Columbus. A .5 PPG player so far this year. Plays soft as charmin (4 hits in 17 games). Isn't exactly much of hustle-oriented player. Has an injury history.
I get that he's only 25 with good size and is a hell of a shooter, but given the cap situation of nearly every team it's hard to imagine someone taking on that much salary for a player who can't seem to stay healthy. Unless they can find a sucker, Columbus is in a situation where they might as well stick with Laine and keep their fingers crossed he can stay healthy and play better than he has.

Well atleast they lost in OT but man Leafs goaltending and D is crap but they definitely can put the puck in the net .
No they usually blow the leads coming back from 5-0 in the third is pretty impressive, and I hate the Leafs. That's the leafiest way to lose
They just got their horrible collapse out of the way before their scoring spree, that's allNo they usually blow the leads coming back from 5-0 in the third is pretty impressive, and I hate the Leafs.
If they ever figure out how to play better defensively or move one of their top guns to build a more compete team they could really be a hell of a team.I pray they never figure it out.LolThat's the Leafs. None of their leads are safe, equally no deficit is beyond their reach. It's all on their top 6.
