I love how the featured players are getting increasingly obscure. Can’t wait to watch season 2, with Plymouth Argyle’s backup goalkeeper.
To be fair if Tarkowski played in the 90s he'd be mentioned in the same breath as the likes of Tony Adams. Really throwback defender ol' big ears. That being said I have zero interest in his personal life.

I think Luton will likely pip one of Forest or Brentford. Having Ivan Toney back has, uh, not yielded the results Brentford would've liked (I say as they get trounced by West f***ing Ham).

I don’t have numbers for it, but it feels like there’s been more injuries than normal this year.
Started with all those turf injuries from the preseason USA tour; but its been across the board.

There are simply too many games in too condensed a period

Liverpool are likely without 13-14. Maybe Nunez is back. Not sure.

Really dire straights.
Everyone is playing too many games, and the Premier League stoppage time is excessive. Not to mention they're the only big league with two cups for some reason. It's hurting them in European competitions too.

English teams won 2/3 European trophies last season and probably has the favorite for all three this year.

Six of the ten richest teams in Europe are English. They should be even better than they are.
I guess. In the last 5 years, England has won 3/5 Champions Leagues and finished runners up in 3/5 as well. Admittedly they've only won 1/5 Europa Leagues while twice finishing second. They've won half the Conference Leagues.

In sum, 5/12 titles out of the past 5 years and then 5/12 runners up; in total, 10/24. I guess they could do slightly better, but it's not exactly a bad record.

And next year I think they will play even more games with the new Champions League format..
