I didn't mind picking him, just feels like we could have moved down for 2 later picks and still got him in the 2nd round. It would have been a gamble I guess to leave him on the board if you were able to manufacture a deal that nets say a 2nd + 4th for our 1st

To me he looks like that 2nd-4th rounder you pick who ends up being a solid player which a lot of teams need to have to get far but we picked him in the 1st round. By the way he came on fast in the 2nd half and playoffs for London, I hope hes only a few years (1 OHL, 1 AHL) away from getting in the line up.
That only works if a team actively wants to move up, which by all accounts there were none.

I know this is just a random clip from a practice and not even normal 5 v 5 sequence but you can see he has nice patience as he held the puck just for a split second longer than normal before getting the shot off.

all the haters. Come to London and watch a game ur two

I saw him play during the OHL finals. When he was on the ice, he was the most dangerous player out there. He has the chance to be a really good pick if continues to improve like he did last season.

I'm liking him more and more. I hope he grows up to be a Brayden Point, and if not, hopefully a Yanni Gourde.
I watched Brayden point when he was in the Dub I would be over the moon if he was anything like him.

He always has a chip on his shoulder and would just drive even if it look it would kill him

Just watched this clip. Doesn't just highlight his goals. Shows quite a bit of his overall play. Honestly, this kid might have quite a bit of upside. He has a quick wrist shot, pretty good skating and puck skills. He looks to have pretty good vision both offensively and defensively. Put all that with the fact that he is constantly engaged in the play and doesn't seem to be afraid of any areas on the ice, he might just end up being a solid all around piece for us one day.

Not sure if this clip was posted yet, but this was included in the Athletic's prospect ranking.

While not all goal/assists, this compilation is far more impressive and gets me more excited than the goal clips I've seen to date. He looks like he could be a player with some good development (which I do trust London to help with).

It wouldn't surprise me if he puts up 100 pts next year, with the skill and vision shown in these vids. Don't know what kind of talent will be around him with the knights next year though, with a few of the older guys moving on
