Luke with an absolutely horrid turnover seals the game, f***ing puke
Id rather he do this stuff here than in the NHL. He'll learn.

Exactly. A 100% Hughes probably does a quick spin-o-rama and gets out of the scramble. He kind of panicked there given the circumstances. He is also hobbled.
Really? The universe taunted me by making me slightly believe Latvia could pull out a win and then that shitty Swedish squad pooped their way to victory.
And now this garbage end. Luke better not be injured or… I will be testy and stuff.
4-0 yet lose the first game that was a must win, more disappointing hockey, never fails lately
He isn't. If it was that bad he wouldn't have finished the game. He looked way more comfortable in the 3rd, although not 100%. From the looks of it, he would've been fine for Friday. Really seemed like a small ankle twist that bothered him, but nothing long-term.As long as Luke hasn't injured himself long term this is a good game for him to learn from. All the frustration he has will be a good thing.

The Switzerland one is the one that pisses me off. If their started didn't shit the bed they could've won.
It's definitely a mental thing, but if he wasn't injured maybe he spins out of trouble. We've seen him do it often with Michigan. Oh well. He'll learn. Even the pros do it lol. That turnover had nothing to do with that....was just a bad play period.
The US team will also be beefed up. A turnover in an injured game for Luke means basically nothing, overall his tournament was a great success. He had a good one and I expect him to come fired up in December. We have an elite prospect in Luke. I'm excited honestly.I really hope the Hughes brothers will lead us back to being a good team & a cup contender. We might not be a big market team but they have alot of hype to live up too. This was just kinda of a nightmare scenario for Hughes having to get hurt, I get he wasn't 100% but that turnover sucked. He will get another chance come December but all of the other teams are going to be beefed up so its going to be harder to win it this winter as opposed to now...
Other than the Latvian win in the Preliminary and Luke getting a watch not much to be happy about.
Go Hauser.

What I'm saying is that at 100% skating maybe he doesn't make that decision. Maybe he skates out of trouble as he so often does. Regardless, bad play in the moment for sure, but injuries do matter in mental mistakes. I'm sure he'll learn from this. I'm also glad he seemed more comfortable towards the end, shows it's not a big injury. That's what I meant. He needs to learn to adapt. He won't always be able to just do whatever he wants in the NHL (at least not initially), even if he's not injured. The decision making there had nothing to do with the injury, that's all I was saying.
Giant killing sports stories are always fun as it usually makes the team who took them down even more stronger and confident.
