At least he's skating better than at the start of the period. It's not a serious injury, but he's far from 100%. Doubt he plays the 3rd. I'm sure he'll be fine in a few days, seems like a really mild twisted ankle like we all used to get on the playground.

Yeah, my thoughts too. He's not 100% but he can move out there, which shows a very mild injury. If they had a comfortable lead, he wouldn't be playing and he'd be good to go for Friday's evening game.

This obviously doesn't change anything for his future, it's a small sprained ankle/injury type of vibe, he can still skate out there, which is good. But with that being said, I hope he's shut down for the 3rd. If the US end up winning, he'll play Friday. He just doesn't bring anything right now.

Can't say the extent of the injury as I didn't see the play but hopefully it's not too bad that it's a serious injury that will make him miss some of the NCAA season. I think what's even more scary is the fact USA is down by 2 goals and the only goal they scored was flukey...Luke needs to stay off the ice if he can't skate well , he's going to drag the team when he is out there being a liability.

That’s not scary. That’s great. I couldn’t give less of a f*** about the US. Them losing and Luke having no chance to play again is what matters.

It wasn't bad. A mild sprained ankle at best, wiggled his ankle in the ice. I'm sure he'd be fine for Friday's game with 2 days rest. Seemed like when you sprain your ankle lightly on the playground lol. He can still skate, which is a good sign. He's just not 100%. It's not a serious injury.

I've never cared about the US in international events. Only time I've ever even really rooted for a US team is 2019 WC because of Jack and then the the 2022 WC and WJC because of Luke
