I disagree, he had his chances used his body to win pucks and showed he wasn't scared to dig in the corners. Whenever the was a rebound infront of the net he caused the German defense problems.

Could of had 2 goals tonight. Didn't look slow, had good hands.

Needs to work more on his agility and edges, maybe a harder shot. He was noticable to me.

I kind of wish Russia was still in. I really want to see Askarov again he is so highly touted but every time I've watched him he seems off.

Not to mention his goalie pads at the holiday junior looked 2 sizes to small it was weird. I want to see if he got new stuff.

I remember watching the draft and hoping people talking about Wallstedt or Cossa falling to the Oilers at pick 20 and than the Oil traded the pick to Minny and they took Wallstedt and people were pissed.

Yeah I agree with this totally. Despite the lack of points he was still really fun to watch. He can really truck through guys. I was surprised by some of his sneaky good passes close around the net too. Really good hands in tight.

Hirovonen was great
Topi was pretty had a solid B to B+ game
Knies C possibly C+ I think his game is more suited for better competition then it is against Germany when everyone wants to play hero ball to pad stats

I recorded the Finland game and just finished watching. My God Hirvonen was impressive. Great passing, play driving and that goal was a beauty. Too bad that Niemela shot didn't go in. That was a nice play too.

Would love to see a 4th line of

Hirvonen Douglas Tverberg

In a few years. Would be a huge pain in the ass to play against and would have enough skill to produce from the 4th line.

Rodwin Dionicio as an OA next year if he can improve his skating ability. He has a lot going for him and most of his weaknesses are linked to his heavier feet.

It already looks much better than it did a year ago at the Hlinka's, and even a few months ago when he was playing for Niagara, so if he can continue getting that sorted out over the next year, he could easily go in the 2nd or 3rd round next year.

Teams love big, physical defensemen and Dionicio has the skill, awareness, and processing ability to make it as one in the NHL if his skating does improve. It is too bad he doesn't play for Guelph, because then he could work with Barb
