Othmann is a hybrid/complete player. I see no reason why he couldn’t fill a bottom six role on this Canada team but who knows what their selection process is.Wasn’t the reason people were upset with us taking Othmann because he didn’t have enough skill and was just sandpaper?
Othmann i believe is 2nd in the OHL in shorthanded goals. So he is definitely out there doing good things on the PK in juniors.
Wasn't even one of his stronger games IMO. He stood out a lot more last year, definitely don't think he's regressed though as he's been excellent in college. He looked a bit sluggish/less high energy last night compared to usual, maybe he had a big Christmas feast lol

That's true, though I think this WJC will buoy his stock a bit. If he has even a decent second half back in Liiga, with his skills and physical attributes, it's hard for me to see him not being taken in the first half of the round. This isn't going to be a Raty-like slide for him, IMO.

mckenzie said its postponed and the usa will forfeit if it cant be played tomorrow since it was "their" covid problem.
