Congrats Canada, better team won. Game would have been 5-2 if not for Jatkola. What an effort from him.
Tbh Finland was lowkey the better team for the latter part of regulation. I'll take it as a Canadian of course but they scraped this one out by the nail, and I feel like had OT been 5 on 5 I'm not sure what would happen

Now we don't have to talk about why McTavish-Johnson started OT together despite not playing together all tournament long. Reunited Stankoven-Johnson and it was all over

We and a few of us guys never lost the faith snipes.

Good old Canadian heart.

Congrats to the Finnish team and the contingent of it's fans that are classy here too, good fans and what a group of hockey players those guys always have. The bad ones, and this goes for the bad Canadian ones too, think they are big fans but in truth, they ain't worthy of the guys that play with the crest on the uniform.
Well said! And congrats! Hopefully we'll see Bedard at least one or two times more in this tournament.
Would've been fun to witness him against Michkov someday as well, but things are sadly as they are right now.

Poor Lamby, i hope he can bounce back as well.

Fun tournament. That OT was crazy, McTavish jesus what a save. This Canadian team scored a lot but man were they an adventure in their own zone. As good as the Finnish goalie was Garand deserves a ton of credit for his whole tourney. Cool as a cucumber.

Finns are a worthy opponent to challenge for hockey dominance. Hope we get to see a best on best Olympics soon.

Thanks Svedu, all props to your team, they could have hung their head and given up when things weren't going their way but As i've come to expect................that just isn't in their nature.

Respect.

Those refs + team canada combined pretty hard team to play against
So you're saying the Fins were playing the Bruins?

I joke!

Hey, it was an exciting game. But yeah it went from NHL style "let 'em play" to NHL style "suddenly we should game manage"

But admit it, dude saving that goal from going in, that was the difference right there. That Finnish goalie is clearly better than what Canada has.

That's my take.

Canada takes Gold. You love to see it.
