Man it's almost like you're a psychic or something.

And of course the game immediately gets blown open.

Can Trent Thornton just f*** off already? Why does Charlie keep relying on this dude.

I don't care where he f***s off to, I just prefer if he f***s off.

Thornton is a useful enough low-leverage inning-eater in blowouts, or a guy to start a game like the Hatch doubleheader start the other day. Used correctly, he can chew through 100 or 120 meaningless innings with a 4.50 ERA or something along those lines.

He should never, ever, ever be put in high-leverage situations and when he is it almost always ends badly.

The Rays looked more like themselves today getting shutout with only 2 hits. Must have been a nice break for them to face Jays pitching over the weekend.. Now back to reality.

Why are they decked out in American gear? Mexican Kirk wearing American catcher gear

The Blue Jays are in huge trouble and a disaater right now, and that isn't changing unless there are moves

If you ask some people, he's the Jays franchise player.
1. He isn't
2. If he is, Jays are going nowhere

I mean, he averaged 6.5 WAR/162 for his first three years. He absolutely appeared to be a franchise player.

This year has just totally gone into the tank and his approach at the plate has been exposed.

His approach was always poor, it was only a matter of time before pitchers figured him out. He could learn a thing or two from Kirk and Biggio. Major adjustments are needed

Bo has the second lowest OPS in the lineup and he’s batting second. He had a good run for a few weeks but has sucked otherwise

Manager is clueless. I really started to like Shapiro and Atkins, but them sticking by Montoyo (or worse, just using him as a puppet) makes me start to dislike them again.

He is still a good hitter. How many young guys come in to this league and start hitting right away? Not many. He is only 24, very young. Some guys don't figure it all out till they are 28 or 29. I think he will be fine because he has loads of talent, you can clearly see it. He will figure it out again.

I mean, he's not a bum up there.

But all of his average/OBP/slugging %/OPS/OPS+ have dropped every year since his rookie year. He hasn't developed an iota as a hitter since he hit MLB, and has actually regressed.

He's a talented athlete, but he really needs to figure out how to hit and how to think his way through ABs if he wants to be more than an average player in the longer term.
