Kirk popping up a lot to start the season.

Nice to see Vladdy driving in the RBIs. It helps Texas isn't pitching him away, and it's mostly singles so far, but fine by me. I prefer my 50 home run guys to drive in more than just a little above 100 runs. Heck, Hernandez was at roughly the same pace and he was pushing for something like 130.

I still wish we had found a way to sign both Ray and Gausman.

So do I, especially considering what Ray ended up getting, but clearly he wanted to get on outta here (like I said he would) considering some suggested the Jays offered him what he wanted. More, I think.
 
It's crazy how not forcing Gausman to throw the slider made him a legitimate arm.

He has like no horizontal movement but the changing of the eye level and break is enough to wreak absolutely havoc.
 
As soon as he stepped on the field you knew he was a ball player? That's a reasonable assumption, but perhaps you should have checked to be sure. He could have been an umpire
