I don't think it's fair to compare Ziba (at the time of trade) with Dach (at the time of trade).

Zib wasn't tearing things up at age 20-21 or even when Gorton acquired him a few years later. Gorton even got a 2nd thrown in with Zib for Brassard.

I like getting a big 21 year old center with upside in Chicago's fire-sale. A change of scenery and MSL might get his career going. He wasn't a reach at #3 like KK. He was a legit #3 pick at the time.
