I wouldn't have any issues with that at all. I actually want to see Pastujov bump up to 3rd line and bump Samoskevich up to Bordeleau.

I think Bordeleau saw my post..like 3 shot attempts from him on that power play lol

I'd scratch Pastujov and bring in Stramel. His skating is so bad he's rarely in the play.

Yeah but he can't keep up with James and Samoskevich or Berard. They'd be like 50 feet ahead of him at all times

I think he could work with Cooley and Knies actually. Those two create a ton of space.

It was a matter of time. Much like the Czechs did in their game against Finland, the Swiss played a really competitive game in their first game and were already acclimated to that sort of intensity. USA and Finland both had easier first games, and weren't really ready to match the intensity of their opponents until the 2nd. Then the skill takes over.

He's been a pleasant surprise. I wouldn't have put him on the 1st line (although LW is our weakest spot besides goalie) but he's delivered so far. Showing his smarts and patented hustle.

Very likeable kid and player. We are very excited for him to turn pro and be a Hawk in 2 years..

Bordeleau needs to start being selfish and take over. I know he loves to dish but kid needs to start ripping more shots on net. He has had some good looks that he seems to not want to take first 2 games..

One player I keep wanting to see more from is Berard. Just not seeing him crash the net and be a factor like I have seen from him past 2 seasons...

Solid performance. Faber and Hughes were excellent, as were Slaggert, Bordeleau, and Mazur. Mbereko was solid. Need more from Knies and Berard.

That didn’t end too bad, but bad start. Switzerland ran out of gas. It’s a little worrying that it was so close halfway through. This format is pathetic enough though that our first three opponents probably can’t beat us.
