He was not invited.Any idea when the U.S. WJC eval camp roster is going to be announced? Should be soon. Interested to see if Jacob Perreault is on there....
No Perreault is a bummer. Door isn't completely shut yet but I doubt he opens it.
I really don't understand the Cooley selection. I get it in that he's the type that USAH loves but he struggled at the U18s in a way that shouldn't give them confidence he's ready for an even bigger jump.
The only names I'm surprised to not see there are Ty Gallagher and Brent Johnson.
Great to see Tynan named. Hopefully he's fully healed from that gruesome injury.
He is definitely a dual that hasn't been locked in to either country so far. Only international experience is at U-17 with Canada. Is Perreault for sure eligible?

Poster (mostly non Canadian) criticized me for saying Canada should chase Brad Lambert. How is this any different?
He'd think, "I should have back checked on Tampa's first goal instead of dogging it."What would Cole Caufield think?
Father is Yanic Perreault so presumably married an American women.I'm curious-how did he acquire U.S. citizenship?

He'd think, "I should have back checked on Tampa's first goal instead of dogging it."
Then he'd think, "As a first year player, I should not have done a fly-by on Tampa's short handed attempt with 4 minutes left in the 1st period."
Then he'd think, "I'm responsible for Tampa's 3rd goal. First I gave it away, then I stood around while they scored."
Finally he'd think. "I hate being a Minus 3 and my giveaways have finally come back to haunt the team."

Hanas added in place of Beniers, who I imagine will be missing camp to have more time to enjoy the NHL draft experience as a high pick since the draft starts on the 23rd and this camp starts on the 24th.
Beniers also had an injury at the Mens Worlds so probably hasn't been skating. He is a lock anyways.
