To give Monten some credit, i like his choice of Vikman. That was actually a good choice. Plays in NA and have good stats.

None going from being a head coach for the junior team to one of three assistants in the senior team is a demotion. I haven’t seen the federation demote anyone yet.

Wouldn’t surprise me at all if Monten played Eklund on the wing and made Ljungman the first line center or something like that. He’s done stranger things before. Can’t have too much skill on a line.

Last year Sundsvik started on the top line with Niederbach on the 3rd for the whole group stage, so, yeah.

Team aint too shabby after all when we have skilled guys like Eklund, Holtz, Niederbach, Lysell, Rosen, Olausson, Nybeck, Sjöberg, Edvinsson, Nyström, Grans, Andrae.

Stenman, Ekmark, Ljungman, Magnusson, Torgersson, Olsson, Lööf are good role players.

Goalies are strong with Wallstedt, Clang and Vikman.

Only players who sucks are Sjöholm, Åke and Forsjäll....Could have had Wallinder, Sjödin and Forsmark instead...

Received some inside info that the Wallinder omission was due to off-ice behavior. That would make sense, I guess. Never heard about character issues before when it comes to Wallinder, however

Players on this team that is already good enough to play for our senior NT: Jesper Wallstedt, William Eklund, Alexander Holtz and Simon Edvinsson. Not for best on best tournament but rather World Championship.

Players not on the team, only Lucas Raymond.

Really hopes Garpenlöv grows some balls and goes with a whole line of these players later in May when its time for WC, if all are available.

All games, not only Swedens games can be seen on SVTplay, Viaplay, tv6. Last time i watched TV was 10 years ago. I just watch everything on my laptop. I have a gaming PC aswell, but i only use it for games and PS4. I wonder if we swedes are not spoiled? I doubt other nations broadcast every single game like swedish media do...i will try to watch every single game as usual. Then throw in some Spengler Cup games. It has become a christmas and new years eve tradition to do this .

I love the Härenstam - Jonas Andersson duo btw . But i kinda miss Renberg, i will never forget his scream of joy when Sweden won gold 2012..

What makes the selecton of ÅKE even more strange is the fact the he only played 4 games this season. He had many problems with injuries. And look at his PIM. Monten must have watched that Slapshot movie recently.

The Forsberg skit, I don't even have to speak the language to get a kick out of this, especially when they gotta start pumping his heart.

Forsberg, God I hated that guy but I sure had a lot of respect for him, he was a balls out gamer that guy, one of the best all around centres I've ever seen and over 51 years I've seen a lot of great ones.
