Ugh.

As a lifelong Red Sox fan and a native Bostonian, I have a proposition for John Henry.

Give me a job with the organization. My title will be Vice President of Fan Relations. My only responsibility will be to keep the franchise from doing stupid sh*t that pisses Red Sox fans off.

Pay me the Major League minimum salary of $700,000 and I guarantee you that I'll be more valuable to your team than Travis Shaw.

It will never cease to amaze me how this ownership group delivered 4 World Series in 15 years and still managed to have everyone hate them. That takes true skill.

It's remarkable that on a night full of love and emotions, they would willingly choose to NOT air Don's video. Its not just tone deaf, it's just plain wrong, makes no sense, and mostly makes me sad. Bad look.

So they invited him to be part the actual ceremony. He couldn't make it. he sent his video the night before, but by then they decided videos would not be part of it. He was still included a ton in the NESN show tribute.

Feels like lack of communication than any malice.

How is "No longer needed" miscommunication?

You have been on record in the past of, "so what they have given us multiple championships". So I am not surprised you are defending them on this shit move.

Yup.

This feels like a pissing match between the Sox and Orsillo. Feels like there’s still bad blood there.

It’s clear where the fanbase stands with regards to this feud.

For a generation of fans, Orsillo and Remy were synonymous with Red Sox baseball.

Hey Donnie, I see your back. Hope that means you got the help you needed.

They f***ed up, for sure, but it feels more like miscommunication than malice, considering they invited him to the actual ceremony and included him all over the NESN special.

As for this ownership group, what they did when Francona left was as despicable as anything you'll see. I rip them when I feel they deserve it. Sorry I don't think they're cheap and overall have been great owners considering the team's success.

Everything they have done is cheap and there is always some BS explanation to talk themselves out of it. They are the epitome of thin skinned and tone deaf on everything. But like I stated you will back them up because of the championships even if John Henry went on a tri state killing spree.

Either way thanks for the welcome back and look forward to reading more articles from you on breakfast cereals and food recipes from old Friends episodes.

Dave OBrien does nothing for me, or the broadcast. He's a robot. He was fine on the radio.

As for ownership, it's truly remarkable how hates they are given their success since owning the team.

Honestly Henry is whatever. Werner is the issue for me. He's a dope, has made the NESN product worse and worse every year, and is just flat out tone deaf on top of it.

What's more offensive: The Red Sox not allowing Don Orsillo to participate in Jerry Remy night or the Red Sox allowing Jackie Bradley to bat 6th in the lineup?

What is this in regards to? :dunno:
In a nutshell...

The Yankees caught the Red Sox using Apple Watches in 2017 and complained to the league.

The league conducted an investigation.

The details of the investigation were leaked to the NY Times.

The Red Sox blamed the Yankees for leaking info to the media and asked the league to investigate the Yankees in retaliation.

The results of the investigation were issued in "The Yankee Letter".

It's rumored that the league found that Yankee players used the video room to decode signs and then relayed the information to runners on second base... or roughly the same thing the Red Sox were punished for doing throughout 2018.
